The Dorito story reminds me of when I (4 or 5) licked all the frosting off my dad's birthday cake 💀 Idk if I thought my parents wouldn't notice, but I tried to convince my parents that my less than 2 year old sisters who were still sleeping in cribs did it. It didn't work.
I tried to throw a Harry Potter themed party because the last book of the series came out. Only one person showed up. She was a friend and co-worker of mine. Although I was glad she arrived at the party it was still a disappointment.
Worst party I attended was a bunch of pre teens, we were first to play board games(I hate board games) and do work sheets ie homework but not required by the school. Oh and they served a veggie platter.
A friend of mine was invited to a graduation party by one of her friends, a girl I had never met. The way this was laid out for her was that it would be a cool party and she should bring me along and bring our own alcohol. Why the girl having the party wasn't honest about what type of party it was, we never found out. We showed up to a family gathering where we all had to sit at round tables, listen to speeches and eat some food. No music and no fun party. We went home right after dinner.
He huffed bath salts, and decided to eat some guys arm. Well when the two rugby players pulled him off the guy he’d been eating the cops were called so was the ambulance. We split fast most of us under age. Guy who did bath salts was handled with. The guy who had parts of his arm eaten was less ok.
Yeah when you invite at least 10 friends over with reasonable notice etc to a party and only one or two shows that does suck but to focus on that and not try to enjoy your time with guests is equally sucky. Like this has definitely happened to me before but I at least tried still to have fun, especially when its your b lister peers that show its like thanks for showing up but please leave early.
In the 15 years of my life. I have not gone to any. Like parties, not birthday parties. When i was younger, there were lots of them. But i have not gone to a single party :) no invitation or anything

Prom 2k24, it was fun but wayy too much public displays of affection and twerking girls and the adults there didn't do anything about it. Also, it was crowded and the dj had the music blaring far too loud.
