Azula is the best villain in the hole cinematic. I think she deserves a better end. I hope et last to realize that Ozai uses her and to join team avatar. And this song is really perfect for her, an excellent job!! Btw I'm fourteen now and its really hard to believe that we are the same age...

Natural Instinct That’s under selling it. A whole country was trying to take over the city for a hundred years with tons of soldiers, technology and literal fire power and failing every time. Then a 14 year old girl succeeds in doing it within days while taking over the entire power structure and could have easily killed the king if she wanted to.

@《Philius Lupin》 In most cases I would agree with you, but the way she did it was believable. She took the city mostly through infiltration and manipulation, she only used force when necessary. It didn’t even feel unrealistic when she used force, because by that point we know she is in the running for most powerful firebender alive.

Meanwhile Azula conquered a city that was a country unto itself with nothing more than face paint, two companions, and a silver tongue in the span of a few months at 14.
Avatar created a character that essentially managed to outdo one of the greatest conquerors in the world without even trying!

She is a badass. Also extremely crazy, and she looks 16-19, most hard to believe she is supposed to be 14-15 throughout the story.
Yeah I remember when I was rewatching this show for the 100th time when I was like 12 and for some reason it took me until that long to realize she's Zuko's *younger* sister. When this originally aired for some reason I thought she was older.
I know she was evil but I think azula was the most intriguing character. Just so scary.

I feel like Azula is not the villain cause she said in book 3 the last 2 episodes " My own mother, thought I was a monster, it was the most painful feeling, ” than she began to slip so she followed her Father’s lead. You see Azula is just misunderstood. And that gave her, her villainess self.

azula's book 3 version would've been "you're gonna fall far kid". this is one of my favourite azula amv's ever. this song is just so lit and fits azula so well, especially the "see the lightning in your eyes" which we actually did see in the book 2 finale. and also the "you're gonna go far, kid" is what sh was promised and guaranteed as a child, that she would become the greatest firelord in history, but all she ever amounted to in the end was a wailing, crying mess, bound by shackles as she spiralled deeper into insanity.

Casting Azula for the Netflix's live-action adaptation will be an absolute nightmare. They better nail it or else it will be 100% trash. Tbh, casting Toph and Zuko will be far from easy too.

Funny was looking up random music videos for this song and was surprisingly disappointed how often it was the heroes depicted in all of them as protagonist. When whole song is about lying, being manipulative and greedy, clawing way to top at all cost. This perfectly fits a character like Azula when that would also eventually be downfall as well.

I mean not really she was kind of bad from the very beginning keep in mind both Zuko and Azula were raised by the same parents and when she found out that her cousin Lu ten died both Zuko and Azula had very different reactions Zuko felt genuinely sad that Uncle Iroh lost his only son but Azula was thinking about Ozai replacing Iroh as fire lord her first part wasn't oh my God I can't believe my cousin died it was how can I use this death to my advantage and this was before the scarring
