    Thank you. Very helpful to propagate more Katuk. It grows so well for me compared to Moringa in zone 9a. Think I will get drumsticks soon from my flowering moringa. Have never seen the seeds on my Katuk trees. LOTS of flowers though. I might add some fertilizer.

    Hello, I am growing Katuk in an indoor green house. It was a gift and its still small. Sunce ive gotten it, some of the leaves have yellowed and fallen off. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Btw I live in GA and the winter weather is too cold currently for outside growth.

      Could be deciduous where you live? Idk but they like warmth

      I do, but you'd have to order quick because I don't have many left. They have to be shipped unrooted to CA. Check out the Etsy listing.

    So correct me if I’m wrong, you sell seeds of fruit that can be found at most Asian grocery stores for more than the fruit costs? Smart I guess.

      I don’t sell seeds locally in Hawaii really but on the mainland it can be hard to get these types of plants. So yeah, there’s a niche

    Hello there! May I ask what cause my katuk leaves to be yellow?

    • @HomesteadinHawaii
      @HomesteadinHawaii  Рік тому

      Could be a variety of reasons, not enough moisture, lack of nitrogen. Try feeding it some compost, topdress with mulch and water it down heavy for a while if the soil is dry.

    Thank you for this info! What is the benefit of using cinder or sand vs potting soil? And do you have a preferred rooting powder?

    • @HomesteadinHawaii
      @HomesteadinHawaii  Рік тому

      When you use cinder or sand, you can space your cuttings really closely and then easily pull the plant out when it’s rooted. Much harder in potting soil but can be done. Sand or cinder also helps with drainage. It helps to water cuttings often until they root.
      I put a link to the rooting powder In the description. It’s good stuff.
