I think you forgot the one big issue about this AP spend is that Lilith cut the amount of AP we can earn in the off season to then blow it either on marauders or kvk barbs/forts for crystals..especially if you are f2p low spend..heck even mid-spend.

Cause my AP gain has gone down drastically since they put a hard cap on the AP gain from grinding forts for Fort Trophy chests. Game events are very limited that award AP pots and there aren’t many of those to begin with. Spending money on the daily bundle? Can’t afford to do that. So plz enlighten me
There are levels to these kinda of games. For a typical player you gain enough. But for highly competitive kds, you need every bit of ap possible to obtain.@ryanforgo3500
Great video. Since I am horrible at chaining barbs the decision is easy for me. It could just be me but it seems harder to chain, every time I head toward a cluster the AI has them scatter and the radius you can kite them seems to be smaller, before they just head back to a specific "spot", even if you are hitting them.

It would be great if later on you could make a comparison between kvk forts and kvk barbs. I know chisgule did sth similar, but honestly that was not so accurate.

for the same amount of AP spend, maraudeurs are better in any way. Kvsk barb sgive almost no crystals, when you see what you get for 250k. You can still chain them anyway without spending AP. i would like to see a comparison between what you had from your chests and what the other guy had to make an average on what you can get tho.
Omni, just to add. Crystal from kvk barbs does not really make the a difference., sadly. I am f2p "no crystal boost i spent almost 80m crystals last kvk" , lets say we get 600 crystals per barb that's like 6 crystal per ap? So you need 200k ap for 1.2 million? Even being optimistic and saying 8 crystals per barb you would need two kvks worth of ap to get 1.8 m crystals which is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Which adds up to why marauders mivht be much higher value. Other than that, it is easy to chain kvk barbarians levels 40-46 even with shitty commanders too. Anyhow i can't reemember the rewards from marauders but, i do remember i got shit loads of materials from kvk barbarians. With that being said, i would say for pure account growth. one should save enough ap so he can chain as many barbs as possible in kvk if one desires to just keep chaining "i would say 10-15k ap is enough to chain non-stop all kvk" and the rest can be used on marauders..

I've maxed out weekly in trophy ap, spend down my regen ap regularly, and buy every week from vip, and im not even quite half way to 400k. That seems like way too much to gather between seasons f2p, or even low spending.

There are better ways to do it, but it does take more effort.
I did marauders and gained 1000chests. Also screenrecorded my openings.. But GG and nice to see people grind marauders! Big Value!
