If all cities in the Ottoman Empire were doing well like Gaza, then the future of the Ottoman Empire and even the Middle East as a whole will be a lot brighter.

I don't think even Gaza was one of the most developed cities of the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire was a Balkan-based state. He made most of his investments in the capital Istanbul, the Mediterranean coastal cities and the Balkan regions. Even the central and eastern parts of Anatolia were not in a good condition during the Ottoman period.

Ottoman State was a Balkanik state since it’s beginning ( Cause before it was just a small Beylik kind of Dukedom in Turkish) it really become a state in the early expansion in the Balkans during early 14th Century and became an Empire by their Conquest of Constantinople in 1453 ( 15th Century) they have made the conquest of all these region by their war against Mamluk based in Egypt who were ruling those regions ( called Middle East) in 1517 and lost it 400 years later in 1917 cause they have lost their Military Technological Superiority and the Turkish demography was undeniable in serious decline in comparison to the demography of Europeans and Arabic people … Both United against the Turks and it was over ( the end of 400 years of Turkish Rule in those Regions) on the Arabic countries if we can call them countries😅
