Awww you shouldn't tease Loyal like that. Since your training him, he is remembering around what time you take him out and knows how to ask to use the bathroom. Because of that he is learning how long to hold his pee for. When he gets excited like that when you open the door around those times, it pretty much his peepee dance. It's like when you have to pee and when you get closer to the bathroom, it's as if it gets worse, like you're about to pee on yourself. Him peeing on the curtains is, in Loyal's mind, the closest he can get to outside.
