No, 1.35V memory slots do not generate enough required voltages to power up your 1.5V PC3 Ram stick.

well, i just ordered a new kit of ddr3L (4x8g) for much cheaper than regular ddr3!
i've read online that low voltage ram has no impact on performance at all!!! it was introduced and compatible with 22nm ivy lake cpu's.

Very unhelpful video, what IS needed is information IF and in what combination you can MIX ddr3 with ddr3L ram in a pc or server (yes I know servers use ECC ram) if you already have some of both types.
