How do you record this from the game and modifying which sliders you tweak without having backround noise from the level backround?

I didn't use the game, I used files with each individual track. I don't know how the original recorder did it.

You can turn off background ambience in LBP2 and up, so they were most likely recorded in lbp2/lbp3
