After rewatching your snowrunner vids I decided to try it out. Long story short I spent 20 hours straight playing it. Since then I've uninstalled it and don't launch it because it straight up crack for me.

To work around the lack of mini-map you can place a trail of markers along the path you wish to take when on the full map. Not perfect, but it helps if you mark turning points at least.
