Narrator you have such a great voice a with a relaxing cadence. I'm fighting fibro pain as well as pain re: healing from a broken femur & shattered hip... this is the salve I've been looking for to distract my mind from this insidious pain. 🚫 Thank you SO much for the terrific content ! 🕯Namaste🕯
Thank you for this Chris.... I don't make 10 mins and I'm gone.... I home schooled our 3 girls from grade 1 to 12..and they used to read to me knowing that I'd fall asleep and they could go outside and play! 😊

Listening to these bedtime stories has been such a pleasure for me. I just wish sometimes I wouldn't fall asleep before the story ends. 😂 The narrator's voices are so soothing and instantly put my busy mind in slow-down mode.
Hi I just wanted to give my opinion on the whole repeated meditation at the start of each story…for me I love your meditations first and I think it’s what really makes you stand apart from other sleep story channels. I will use the time stamps and listen to a new story each night so the meditation at the start is great for me but I understand if you take them out next compilation for others who listen all the way through. Thanks as always for doing such a great job. Really love and appreciate your content 😊🇦🇺
Thank you for the feedback. That is what we were trying to understand, if users use time stamps and listen to 1-2 stories or they listen to the whole compilation all the way through. We will be removing the meditation part in our next compilation, hoping once it is up that you will let us know if it is ok that way for you as well.
@@SoothingPod 😊 If folk are still awake at the end of each reading. then they probably need another meditation to encourage them back into the right mood for sleep...💤 Leave the soothing preparation part in, say I : they can always advance the recording a little : the preparation part is , in effect, self- hypnosis , under their control, and hopefully repeated hearing makes a relaxed "conditioned reflex". ACK!!!! The phone volume was set with the 1st story, and then you BLAST our ears with the 2nd story reader's LOUD volume! OWWW! And now we're awake again.
Yay you're back! I remember listening to these individual tales when you first released them. But compilations are nice, especially for those extra sleepness nights or when I want to introduce someone else to you. But I wonder if, the stories after story one on the compilation could be trimmed so that we don't have to listen to the welcome to Soothing Pod and breathing/meditation/mindfulness section repeatedly before each story. Otherwise its a hello, welcome and breath 10 times in one night! 😂 (Maybe I'm alone in thinking this and others like this part repeatedly. Either way, I'm grateful for your work but just wanted to share a quick idea just in case it's useful one day)
Thanks for the feedback:) We were already thinking about this too, but to be honest still trying to determine how exactly people are listening to our compilations. We had similar suggestions already, we also thought about this even before we posted the fist compilation:)), and will be definitely trying the other way with the next compilation.
I agree. Listening to the introductions each time is a bit redundant. I LOVE the stories though so I'm very grateful they are available. Looking forward to listening to them tonight. 🫠
I hear different pieces from different stories so I don't mind several introductions. Wonderful job, sometimes I start a single story multiple times a night just to hear 2 sentences per time. Keeps me out of my head. Thank you!
Anyone notice that one story is perfect volume and the next story the voice is so loud it scares them awake?! Lol well it happened to me... still love the idea just wish you stayed one volume the entire time
Two questions for the team... (if you see it😊) ○ What's your favourite story you've ever read on your channel? ○ What's your favourite story you'd like to read on the channel one day?
I suppose everyone from the team would have a different answer hahaha :) But for me personally, these stories are somehow mix of what my passion and love is: mythology (Greek mythology is my fav, but hardly waiting to present all other myths/stories from other places on this channel soon) classic books, nature and cosmos, history and very rare folktales from all around the world and mixing all that knowledge while in the other hand, it all has to be adapted in a way to suite well for a sleep story. So, there are some truly good myths/books/stories that cannot be read on a sleep story channel, unless changed too much and then it loses its original beauty, and one of them is "The Fortress" by Meša Selimović, one of my fav books - but not something I would recommend for late night reading (or a sleep story :))), nor it would be easy to understand for those who do not know the history of that part of the world (a city still under Ottoman rule on the Balkans etc). One of the stories that I hope will be on this channel soon is about Semiramis, legendary Babylon queen, and The Hanging Gardens, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World for which the location has not been definitively established and the reason why it was constructed etc. And my fav story that is already on our channel is "Cosmic Journey" - imagine having a sleep story channel, where you are trying to help people with sleeping issues etc, and you personally struggle with insomnia for over than 20 years and nothing helps, and you have all these stories but you are listening to them in a different way, to check if all is read/pronounced good, if there are some weird sounds that need to be removed, if narrator left some funny remark for you that cannot stay hahaha etc. and ofc you should not get asleep while checking that all (when I work my brain is hyper active, that is mostly my reason for insomnia, cannot calm down my thoughts) - and I got asleep, on the floor, without a pillow or a blanket, or anything, wanted just to straighten my back a little while I listen to it :)) ... eventually woke up after an hour or two, totally confused why I am on the floor and what has happened. This has never happened before or after that time, so this story stays very special to me, the story that managed to silent my own thoughts and lull me into sleep :)
@@Valen_Wolf It is probably for the best if they didn't unless the following doesn't happen: because if they end up putting g stories like these the driver could end up falling asleep and crashing Feedback: But honestly I think I could be a good idea if they like put entertainment stories
These are all shortened versions of the originals. The Little Princess was a bit annoying with how many times the narrator says “but…” I also don’t like that EVERY story starts with a lengthy sleep intro. Probably won’t keep listening, but the recording isn’t generally bad.
What you do is so important for us insomniacs. Sincerely, thank you

Hi Chris I need 10 minutes of meditation before the stories please 🙏
A version with a lot consistent volume would be great. Was totally falling asleep. Sitting up now
Thank you 🙏 ❤
