Preach. Some of them (mostly i'd said) are protecting their fav streamer so much they forget it's just rp. They forget the whole concept. They forget the streamers could talk to each other in private if there's any issue between them / their way of rp.

It would be really funny if Tommy ended up being the one to fold in the end, but Zerkaa would never let that happen lol. He takes it a bit too serious i guess because he is scared that chatters will go berserk like back in the day
From what I've seen if tommy actually tried he'd easily get ray mond because there's lore and a proper storyline there but like u said zerkaa don't wanna take tommy down the relationship rp route again

Yeah the chat and overinvested commenters go fucking nuts if something they see doesnt line up the way they want😂 But like the comment above mentioned Rae would be the best person because she wouldnt exactly be bothered by random comments and then attack the people for commenting like some others have in the past👀. it isnt that he is uncomfortable doing it, its because of the viewers who are way to super invested, thats why the whole tommy relationship stuff ended in the first place back in 3.0 because any time he talked to any female that streamer had so many haters going into their chats and harrassing them simply because of rp, like it was incredibly bad at how it got. if viewers never got bad to a fraction of how that was then he may have kept doing relationship rp but cant because of viewers. even at the end of 3.0 when it was tommy v the mandem he to mention at the end of basically every stream or every big interaction that it is just rp its not serious that they are friends off stream because he knows that viewers get super into it and get toxic

I dont think that valkyrae is understanding that zerkaa doesn't want to do relationship rp anymore, despite him making it quite obvious lol. I feel like hopefully in today's stream or tomorrow, all this gets brought up, and he makes it clear, cos Ray has been seemingly trying to push the relationship arc with Tommy. Leave all that in 3.0, I like the whole cg Tommy now, no relationships.

See, it would've been different if the RRP between Ray and Tommy back in 3.0 had a proper closure like many of Ray Mond's other relationships and connections that were cut short. If you have been following Ray's progress, she has slowly been seeking closure/resolution, ranging from reconnecting with April Fooze then reaching out to other Chang Gang members. And so it would make sense that she would do the same for Tommy. Zerkaa himself seems to be taking things at a pace of "slow burn RP". Knowing these, Ray and Tommy's story can go several ways: a) closure then moving on as friends, or b) play around like usual, or c) end up in a fight and ignore each other. Who knows~ You just can't really stop things just because you don't want to be involved anymore. You have to "RP your way out" as they say. Unless of course the 5-year timeskip character lore says anything about that, then it's a different case. That's how it is in my point of view, at least. The best way for Tommy right now is to overtly state IC that they don't want to be romantically involved. It can be argued that being in Celibate Gang should signal that Tommy doesn't want romantic relationships, but Benji and Yuno aren't making a strong case for this. We just have to wait for this supposed slow burn RP, I guess. Tommy rejecting Ray's advances outright is a decent closure too but we know damn well that people who like RRP would not be satisfied with that. Lmfao Tbf, all the RRP really gets in the way of IC money and work progress way too often and it gets really distracting and sometimes annoying. 😅
@@SephirotHeRe Do you watch zerkaa's stream or nah? He gets visually uncomfortable (ooc) whenever someone tries flirting in-game, or brings up possible relationships or whatever, zerkaa then makes it pretty clear, in character, by going completely monotone, and trying to change the subject. I'm not saying valkyrae is purposely doing it lol, I just don't think she knows zerkaa doesn't want to go down the RRP route anymore.
Its not "weird comments", its what's happening currently, that's all. In fact, the "weird comments" will come if zerkaa actually goes through the relationship phase again, as that's when viewers will start attacking other streamers and sending them hate, based on who they want Tommy to be with. So not doing relationships, which is what zerkaa is doing, is actually the best way to avoid hate and "weird comments".
