hammer cons: slow, no block, no piercing
hammer pros: high dmg against people without armor, crushing, long radius.
Can't be blocked too, also the reason it doesn't always kill on hit is just people missing, it happens when the handle is hitting the robot instead of the head making it just push the robot away.(Though it is kinda finicky and doesn't always work properly generally when you hit the leg instead of the center mass which should be rather easy to avoid considering the size of the head)
You're doing great here man, I always enjoy your commentary. I can't believe you haven't reached 500k yet but as I said - YET 😉
PS Try playing "The beginner's guide" - it's not actually like the games you publish but I think you might enjoy this game.

good things about every weapon: sword is real generic,bow is ranged,hammer is long range and can kill more bots with one swing effective against armor,spear..... well spear bots are op and spears are good for range and commonly one shot

I dont know how, but im pretty sure you can rotate arrows, so it will be harder for enemies to jump and dodge them. But, it would probably make it harder to aim, and allow bots to strafe to dodge. Just letting you know :)

One way to use it is to back up then swing so you won't have as slow as a swing
Kick and jet pack are a good substitute for the hammers lack of defense

Coming back to watch this series after the most recent of the updates the hammer does seem less powerful. Like the fact if you hit a robot not in a good spot it will essentially be vaporized. I’m glad the devs did some balancing because the hammer would be really hard to play with.

Idk why shields block hammers. It just means spears are by far the best defensive weapon. With flaming spear it just needs to make contact to kill most of the time. Spear jetpacks are a nightmare to deal with because of this.
