I'm 18 and a few months ago got my first mini truck, a 1990 mighty max. I've always been a truck guy but I was only into lifted trucks until recently. I have a few friends with mini trucks and they said I should get one so I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did. Justin is right, mini trucks are a whole different world. They are super fun and you meet some really cool people at the meets.
I seen that truck last month I was driving in front of him!!!!! Holy cow I knew that truck he is sitting on look familiar!!!!! I love these videos!!!!!!!
This one made me feel old and laugh at the same time. When he was asked about being 40, dont worry man it happens faster than you know it. But the love for custom rides never changes!
Thanks! We are constantly filming and adding new interviews. We are also traveling to new areas each month. If we are in your area at some point, we would love to sit down and talk trucks.
@@SunSet_phx we plan to be out in Arizona and California sometime this summer. Make sure to follow us on Instagram and/or Facebook to see when we are traveling out there.
I've gone from the stanced car scene to being a Vanner back to stanced cars to mini trucking still love ae92's but first ever mini I had was a old 77 ford courier it was a rust bucket frame snapped it went to the scrap yard recently ended up with a 85 ram 50 would of loved to bag or static drop it but life on a dirt road calls for the rally approach.
Do you live in Oklahoma? I could have swore I saw that blue patina 64 4 door impala on Oklahoma craigslist's awhile back. I need some advice on my bagged 59 impala. It lowers and raises slow. Is there any way I can i air the 59 down and up faster?
We are located in the Houston area. The blue 64 is now in Louisiana being rebuilt, but we may see it again in a future episode. As far as speed for your air ride, it may be the valve size that is slowing things down. It depends on what size valves you have currently. 1/4" valves are cheap but are small and very slow. 3/8" valves are the most common, but are not extremely fast. 1/2" valves allow more airflow and are much faster.
I had a 64 impala 4 door hardtop. I put its frame under the 59 because the 59s old frame was bent on the passenger side. The 59 has a switch box with 4 valves. Can those be adjusted? To air up faster and drop faster?
@@BuiltToCruise I told the guy that put the air ride in I wanted the air ride to air up slow and down slow. At the time I was worried about the lifts going up too fast. I didn't want to Jimmy things loose.
How old were you when you got into custom vehicles? Who else is over 40 and still building custom vehicles?
BuiltToCruise I'm 36 still customizing and restoring classics.
@@richardquinones4943 it's a lifelong thing. Once you get into it, it's hard to leave anything stock.
37 and still addicted
@@xtoyota1990x we never grow out of it.
I was around 8 or 9

Omg! I was just going to joke about it at first but jesus christ..... how many times can a human say UUUH
We joke with him about it in a later video. He was hung over when we filmed this. LOL.
Sooo, he buys someone else's build's.
🤷🏻♂️ he changes things up as he goes. But sometimes it's cheaper to buy a truck that is already started.
Justin did great! Awesome video.
Thank you! Justin was nervous, but did a good job of telling his story.
6:47 is that Sparks in the Ozarks??
It is indeed from Sparks in the Ozarks 13.

LOL! Justin is a good sport. He is a lot of fun to hang out with.
And good catch. LOL. I figured if someone watched all the videos, they'd catch that reference in the Battle in Bama video.
Yea I caught it almost instantly. Once again you guys keep up the good work. Really love the interviews.

Exactly! In 20 years Justin will be like the rest of us. Still driving custom trucks and wondering where all the years have went.
This video is very real and you held it together very well.
Justin was so nervous, but he did great!
I really hope I can get one of these interviews one day
