I really enjoyed this video, Leila! I wish I had known more when I was (a lot) younger, but fortunately, my husband and I invested for many years, and now as we are approaching retirement, we are in good financial shape. Still, there is always more to learn, and your videos are inspiring! I had several financial goals in my mind, but after listening to this particular video, I made a Google sheet with the specific goals I want to achieve by the end of 2024, and I'll track them at the end of each month. Thanks for your dedication to informing, encouraging, and educating your followers!
Awesome video! I'm also 31 with a similar networth. While I never sat down and made a list of goals, the 1M by 40 has been on my mind... only time will tell!
Thanks for the update Leila. You're doing so well. I go by Liz, Libby and Elizabeth! 🙂 No worries there.
great video leila.
goal setting is so fun and seeing the gradual accomplishments definitely tops it off :)
Your goals are inspiring. Keep up the good work !
The great video. I love to see you reaching for goals in the next 10 years. the one thing you didn’t discuss was if you planned on having children. They can change every goal that you set today. Just something you might want to think about. Have a great weekend.
I'll still be here. I'm almost 60.
Im 32 and my goal this year is to buy a house and get on the property ladder. That has been my main financial goal for the past 7 years, so I have financially reached the position to do so. So now am house searching and hopefully will find something good in my budget.
I wouldn’t recommend tesla btw. My dad has one and its so unreliable
Girl, I’m about to turn 41 in a few weeks I can’t believe it😂😂😂
Girl congrats in advance 😅. Just start setting your goal when you reach 50 y. Time has not friend 😂😂.
I hope there is Turkey in your travel list too! I am from Turkey and my country is gorgeous.
I moved into my husbands house when we got married 11 yrs ago and I’m so glad I didn’t succumb to the pressures of homeownership any sooner lol It wasn’t necessary for me to get a house in my 20s/early 30s but I did look a couple of times.
Love to hear that! I always look 🤭 just in case, but haven't actually ever applied for a loan or anything lol
DO NOT FLY FIRST CLASS.
You can't go back. UA upgraded me about 3 years ago, worst thing that ever happened to me.
Time flies, you in your 30s now next thing you know, 40s are knocking your door, but you will still feel like you are in your 20s.
(Just 3mnts into the video)....
An observation; your skin looks so refreshed and, with a glow, brings out your natural beauty even more.
Have you considered family life in your $$$ planing from start? If you and your husband (if you live with a person, that's a marriage relationship; although no 📃 have been signed), have a baby, purchase a property.... how would the numbers change? If not, it would be interesting how you would present it.
Thank you so much! We do not want children!
We would probably carry on with how we've been handling finances since my bf already owns this house!

I'm so impressed by your long-term focus. At 63, I wish I had learned more about investing and setting goals when I was younger. I was good at short-term saving for a specific purpose but lacked the discipline to save for retirement and now I'm regretting that. If I had only invested a small amount consistently over a long time, I would be much better off. Keep up the great work!
