Love this series by Brownells, half the fun of owning firearms is building them, troubleshooting them, improving them, etc. Too many guys are scared of making a mistake, guns are NOT rocket science, they are just precise Legos for men. This series will give guys a lot more confidence to step out of their comfort zone and try some builds they would have otherwise avoided. Really well done.
I love seeing two of my favorite UA-camrs in the same video assembling a rifle I am jealous of! I would love to have one! P.S. I certainly voted for both of you in the Gundies! May God Bless you both!
Really enjoying this blueprint build series so far. Glad to see that UA-cam apparently approves, too. Also, I am eternally jealous that I didn’t get one of the Brownells/Dixxon “Big Iron” flannel shirts!
This is an amazing video. I'm impressed (since I trust both of your judgments on the topic) that a 20-inch barrel is used for long-range shooting. Caleb reminds me of my mother helping my sister to bake cookies, doing all the critical pieces and handing off the spoon (or screwdriver) to the help for some trivial, very low risk, steps. Great job.
That's a sweet build and this collab was long awaited. The camera guy was on one though. Dragged out that closeup shot of Jared struggling with the mlok picrail like that? 😂 The poor guy was not having a good time
Jared great job looking forward to videos about the sight in and use of this pewpew. Caleb another great build, one idea is to reinstitution of Brownells videos on building Mauser 98 to today's standards.
Love it Jared. I'd have gone with a different caliber though. Either 6.5 PRC, or 7 SAUM have a little more stopping power further out. Jared you should have mentioned how light and feathery that thing feels in hand, it looks like it'd be a great rifle for hiking in the back country. That thing should be really nice for some deer action, and even stretching out. I do really well with the 143 grain Hornady ELDX in my 6.5PRC, and I've heard good things about it in the Creed too.
I hope that was a quick overview because we missed blue Loctite and torquing and I relief alignment and, for the scope and a few other steps Torquing the rings and scope and blue Loctite
Trigger hanger is the correct term. Define "long range". 6.5 PRC or 7 PRC with a longer, legit heavy barrel would be a better choice. I have an 8.6BLK (6 twist) on a Solus action. It works for what I built it for but 300yards is about all I'll trust it at (shooting heavy supers). I also have two more Solus actions slated for 6.5 PRC and 7 PRC. I agree, I'd rather not have to use a barrel nut.
I like watching you both on your channels. I thought the Solus was a proprietary receiver. So it is standard thread ? Meaning I could drop a Remington 700, 6.5 barrel on it ? I noticed you cut out the leveling of the scope and all that. Sometimes it does get lengthy. Can't believe Jared had never mounted a scope. I also thought you tube had banded any builds on youtube. I guess that wasn't true.
I'm sure I'm not the only surprised that this dude who's constantly given firearms and accessories for reviews just said that he's "Never installed a scope before". Talk about a privileged life, holy shit.
wild guess. the scope rings were too low for the objective bell to clearance the handguard? so they were switched over for a higher mount set off camera? it happens. wish we could have been walked through a common oversight of a build. good video though. one real sexy musket.
Great video.. question.. I have a 300 blackout on an AR platform.. the issue I have is it ejects properly but doesn't rack a round 100%.. I've oiled it well, tried different type rounds without success.. any ideas? Thanks!
Check your feed ramps first. But I’ve also seen in some cases where the lower magwell was made a tad bit crooked which causes failure to feed. Check out (school of the American rifle channel) I think he actually has a video on it as well. Hope this helps.
Sounds like your BCG isn't going all the way back in order to rack the next rounds which means more than likely you're under gassed or losing gas somewhere. Check for loose or miss aligned gas block, and check your gas rings. If those all check out I would try another BCG because your gas key could be leaking. You could also have a heavy buffer or spring that could cause a problem too.
The Brownell's website certificate is valid, so it could be an issue with your computer's system date or time (assuming you are not on a mobile device).
This might be a controversial opinion, but i don't really see the point of a standard action bolt guns when the AR10 exists - magnums, yes, long actions, yes, but just for 308 or whatever? Eh... Granted, Aero *does* make magnum long actions, and lord do i want one, but i know it would be a safe queen so i can't justify the spend. Also: 'Disobey' 🤣 Sure bro. I'm sure you'll do that. Any day, now.
Guns and gadgets spent years advertising for USCCA despite being extremely shady, bow he’s being paid by a competitor to shill for THAT shady insurance instead. Man is a shill.
This collab has been a long time coming. Great to see you two together!
These collabs with other youtubers was a cool idea 👍

SOME MODERN firearms are easy to put together like Legos, but not all of them. Alot of firearms take actual knowledge to work on correctly and build.
Jared is a great apprentice, on top of every move!
Nice looking rifle!
Great collab with two of my favorite channels, and another informative build.
Proud to be a Brownells Customer! Yay Jared!!!!
two of my favorite gun guys!

Hey Jared thought I was having a dream clicked on Brownells and up pop Jared!
What a great opportunity and learning experience.
Nice to see Jared on a build video!

Have fun with your new rifle Jared!
Good to see Jared and Caleb in a video.
Great job Jared
Nice to see Jared exercising his 2A rights instead of reporting on it... We need more of this!!
Wow Jared is making moves! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪🏾
So cool you're on here
I’m digging the Omega watch
Caleb would be fun to have as a class instructor
He doesn't take himself too serious. he cracks jokes and generally keeps things moving
Love my Aero Solus build. It was great to customize every part of the gun. Built one in a 22 Creed.
Great guest !
Congratulations Jared you made it to the big times 👊
My 2 favorite people! Great build!
Seems alot easier seeing this on film, great video
Love your videos Caleb!👍🏻😎🇺🇸
Great Collaboration
Good looking rig
Great Collab!! BTW, your clock battery needs to be changed. lol
Oh shit! Brownhell's getting spicy
Top Notch! Glad this union finally happened.
Start a Caleb-boration series!
finally a video where caleb cant sell his hair grease. great video fellas
Caleb needs to get into some beard grease next. Maybe it smells like Hoppe's?
I enjoy watching Brownells videos

JARED!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!
Love these videos
JARED!!!!!!!!!!
You should do a series where you build all major styles of actions and platforms. AR15/AR10, Remington 700, Glock, etc.
That is easier than building an AR. My next project is a bolt action. Thanks!!!
That's a sweet build and this collab was long awaited.

Chuckle and the mic cut.
Jared....😂 what did you say with your finger in there
😂😂😂
The can of worms are open now, Jared will be building some fun stuff.
Awesome job have shooting your new gun😬
I’m seriously considering one of these builds in the future for a .277Fury build.
I like the rifle 👍
I hope that was a quick overview because we missed blue Loctite and torquing and I relief alignment and, for the scope and a few other steps Torquing the rings and scope and blue Loctite
looks like a $5,000 Omega watch that he is sporting .... Nice!
Being an influencer pays good
@@joejohnson4183you mean grifter
Hey Jared, you're a gaF! Lol. Thanks for all you do.
I would love to build one Aeros bolt gun if they had them in stock
I wish YT would let you show more of the process.
I want to build one of these I love this gun. Just need the $$$.
It’s taken me almost 4 years to get the parts together for my custom rifle. All depends on how dedicated you are and what you want.
I'm Like You. When I work the table must be clean and organized.
I was more interested in the scope mounting. Hope you can do a video on scope mounting. SEMPER FI
We did!
Just curious about the cost of this build? I would definitely like to do the same but in 308.

Looking to get a new precision bolt action rifle. Aero built as per this video or a Seekins PH3?
Nice to see Jared has a good taste in watches, Omega seamaster chronometer. I wander does that build cost as much as your watch?

it happens. wish we could have been walked through a common oversight of a build.
good video though.
one real sexy musket.
How many codpoints did this blueprint cost
Can I get a parts list or a link to where I can buy a kit like this in 300 win mag
Wait Jared does gun stuff?
Looks like his favorite hobby is eating and sitting
@ lol
I noticed Jared didn't mis-obey Caleb one time during the build!😮
Great video.. question.. I have a 300 blackout on an AR platform.. the issue I have is it ejects properly but doesn't rack a round 100%.. I've oiled it well, tried different type rounds without success.. any ideas? Thanks!

Get a adjustable gas block

That's a puny Arca rail!
Word!
Why do I feel this is like seeing Jared on Mr. Rogers Neighborhood?
Ballpark price for the build?
right thumb 3rd knuckle
👏👏👏👏👍
How do I get invited to do this?
Fun
👍👍
Anyone else think this guy looks like Hank shrader from breaking bad?
Jared righty tighty lefty loosy
Carbon fiber rapped barrels are not good for long range shooting past 3-5 shots then groups open up from what i've seen!
Caleb, help him out with his hair.
For the love of Mike, leave that poor table alone!
Getting security errors on your website.
The Brownell's website certificate is valid, so it could be an issue with your computer's system date or time (assuming you are not on a mobile device).
Where's Stephen? Did I miss something?
The video was too short.
That Magpul grip needs to go...needs a Die Free Co Kung Fu pistol grip, right Caleb? 😀
Y'all could have me on here, i would be in a background critiquing you in a comical matter
Dont Tighten the pic rail mlock! Lefty losey, haha sorry Jared had to
Not sure what happened at the end there...pressed for time i guess.
Dang, didn’t even give us a decent look at the finished product…

These guys both look awkward together. Gerrad is so nervous, he cant figure out rightie tightie - lefty loosie!
Sadly, AERO does not support their products ... try a call to cust support before you buy.
You must be one of those SDI gunsmiths!!! LOL.
Guns and gadgets spent years advertising for USCCA despite being extremely shady, bow he’s being paid by a competitor to shill for THAT shady insurance instead. Man is a shill.
Yup Jared and people like him in the clickbait 2a news genre of pewtube should be shunned out of the community
Pardon my ignorance… thought YT doesn’t allow build videos…
another CRUDMOORE
Creedmoor is great for long range. I have both 308 and 6.5 totally different purposes
@@vicdiaz5180 it's just everyone on the NET makes it sound like the Best and only gun period. I'd take a red rider over a Crudmoore
@@randybichsel4244it’s not the best but the round fires flat and stays supersonic at 1200 yard also great against wind. That’s why people love it.

Not a Shriner tattoo. It’s the symbol of New Orleans
