Diaper cream also helps elderly with bedsores. I used it on my mom constantly, and she had NO sores until the very end. It's the same ingredient as barrier cream.
I started using benzoyl peroxide acne wash on my underarms after I switched to aluminum free deodorant. The combination of washing with BPO and then using aluminum free deodorant works better than regular deodorant. Just get the cheap BPO wash from the dollar store or Amazon. I am in my late fifties and still use BPO all the time. No irritation, which is saying a lot since I tend to get eczema.
