"Won't you help me Mr. Jesus, won't you tell me if you can? When you see this world we live in, do you still believe in man? If my songs become my freedom, and my freedom turns to gold Then I'll ask the final question, if the answer could be sold" One of my favorite phrases by Sabbath...
Clearly one of their most underrated songs. Someone already mentioned in comments that no one ever talks about this one, which just goes to show really the depth of the Sab catalogue
This is one of their best. Absolutely stunning guitar riff backed by superb bass and percurssion. Great changes of style within the song aswell. Sabotage and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath albums were them at their peak....
A deep cut that always surprises when you hear it again, the enormity of Black Sabbath's catalog hits home with tracks like this. They leave such a mass of great music to revisit often, and for others to discover, for years to come. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎶🔥
This is one of those lesser heard Sabbath songs that leaves a pleasant mark on one's soul. A message of freedom and free will. "don't you think I don't know my own mind"
Was 13 when this album came out favorite one by them with Ozzy yes in to them since 1970 debut album when 8 they saved me from being a whimp before then only Elvis the Beatles or the rolling Stones is all I heard I did like The Who for early 1960's British invasion groups also flower power hippie music my sister's liked so when I heard Black Sabbath it helped my balls drop and turned me into a real man not wussy
Great reaction! Black Sabbath: 8 sacred albums released in the 70s: the biggest band in the history of Heavy Metal...After this, Ozzy Osbourne began his successful solo career in the early 80s with two masterful albums: Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and Diary of a Madman (1981), both with the phenomenal guitarist, the genius Randy Rhoads. Ozzy's voice: unique, impressive timbre, a living legend...Immortal...And, after Ozzy left the band, Black Sabbath continued to release excellent albums with the following exceptional vocalists: Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Tony Martin...And, for me, the Grand Master, when talking about the greatest band in the history of Heavy Metal, a band that even created Metal: Tony Iommi. This is an alien that is a million light years away in every way. Many people say that he is the greatest in terms of guitar riffs, but, in reality, Tony Iommi is the greatest in terms of everything: riffs, composition, arrangements, creativity, musical boldness, avant-garde, musical grandeur, timbres, effects, etc, etc, etc...I made a special highlight for Ozzy Osbourne and the Grand Master, Tony Iommi. But I can't forget to mention the other 2 geniuses who were part of the masterful and unforgettable Sabbath of the 70s: bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward...
MY FAVORITE SABBATH ALBUM OVER THER YEARS THE LYRICS IF YOU NEED IT Inclination of direction, walk the turned and twisted rift With the children of creation futuristic dreams we sift Clutching violently we whisper with a liquefying cry Any deadly final answers that are surely doomed to die Won't you help me Mr. Jesus, won't you tell me if you can? When you see this world we live in, do you still believe in Man? If my songs become my freedom, and my freedom turns to gold Then I'll ask the final question, if the answer could be sold Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it 'Cause I've got no reason to lie, yeah Forget your problems that don't even exist And I'll show you a way to get high, oh yeah Oh yeah! So come along, you know you matter to me Remember freedom is not hard to find, yeah Time to stop all your messing around Don't you think that I know my own mind, oh yeah Oh yeah! Why can't you believe, it's not here to perceive Do you always have to be told, yeah For you have been taught that if your mind has been bought Life's entire answer was sold, oh yeah
@@amarjitsinghdulay1890 tbh i did not hear of sabbath untill i was way in to my teen years. was raised in a (VERY ) religious home so no music other than gospel and what was in church
Classic Sabbath tune, don't know why it doesn't get more love. Bill and Ozzy are wailing. More superhard Geezer lyrics "Won't you tell me Mr. Jesus, tell me if you can? When you see this world we live in, do you still believe in Man?" Sheesh. And classic Tony riffs too. What's not to love?
HAVENT HEARD THIS IN A I0NG TIME, SIMPIY IT JUST BRINGS BACK THE GREATNESS, THE DIVERSITY AND INN0VATIVE TAIENT 0F THE 60s and 70s, PARTICUIARIY WITH BIACK SABBATH!!
Keep them coming guys great content GD, ABB and The Dan. Jam bands 50 years ago when I first heard these tunes I knew I liked them but didn't have the musical IQ you guys do. Have a safe weekend. all. ☘️
This is their last epic album. My late wife and I would walk back from the bars and blast Symptom of the Universe very loud at 2:20AM we did this sporadically between 2009-2015. The CD case of Sabotage was used for things other than music Jan-June 2000. Same with Farewell to Kings by Rush.
I do it (cranking out the speakers with a choice of metal mayhem from my youth) whenever I'm given the chance, my friend and you've mentioned another of my mainstays, the Canadian threesome. Fab.
Sabotage to me, is Black Sabbath at their peak with Ozzy. Do yourselves a favor and listen to the whole album, it is a masterpiece. Would love to see you guys react to "Megalomania" from this album.
One of their best prog rock songs IMO.
This whole album rocks.

Yes a great song
Many people only know songs they hear on the radio which are not always the best ones off an album in my opinion..
Bill Ward bringing the swing. The Funk in metal
This is one of their best. Absolutely stunning guitar riff backed by superb bass and percurssion. Great changes of style within the song aswell. Sabotage and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath albums were them at their peak....
My favorite song from this album

Sabotage is underrated and almost never talked about or mentioned, criminally underappreciated..in my opinion
it's because it's their most prog album and most dipshits don't like using that word because they're programmed to rubbish prog rock....
I felt by far best Ozzy era album
Thank you for reminding me how much of a great song this is. I love this album and forget about this particular track. Only so many hours in a day. 🤘

I love this song, Ozzy really cuts loose and runs with it.
Bad ass
“That’s the BPM we love to hear them at.” Presses play, BPM immediately changes. lmao!
Bill is always killing it and making it more interesting!
imagine making music that sounds so free in this decade
Glad you liked this one. This is a track no one mostly ever talks about.
Again, this entire album is a masterpiece

Ozzy finest Hour
this and the writ are probably my two favorite sabbath songs ever
Had to explain to those that weren't brought up listening to these slabs of immortal rock passages. It's a part of our DNA.

Uno dei miei primi ascolti hard rock
Album sottovalutato
My soul has a dark spot for Sabbath
That second verse is one of my all-time favorites by them.
My favourite song on this album. That last section is pure joy to me.
This song is one of my absolute favorites!! The guitar riff is badass .
Nice!
Taking me back to the roots! Truly iconic band!
Thanks!
Bill Ward in THA house❗️
He sure is in the house!!! He killed that one!!

I repeat. THE Riff kings …..tx fellas
One of their best tunes. ie heaviest
Anyone ever wonder how early Sabbath sounds like hip hop.
So glad I didn't go all in with sabbath as a kid because I wouldn't get to discover all these hidden gems later on in life
You guys are the coolest reactors on youtube...deserve all the views
Very KISS like

One of my favs. Wait until you hear the rest of this album. I bet you give it 5/5

When Ozzie comes in and the deep groove starts...👍 Really hard to pick a fav off this album, but maybe this one.
Fn awesome song so underrated
haven't come to the best songs yet. =) Love your reaction, especially Black Sabbath, since it a childhood band for me. Brings me back you know...
Ditto, mate they have been the blueprint of my mid teens to early adulthood and beyond and still going strong and I'm turning 62 in October
I played the hell out of this 8-track in my ‘70 340 Duster

Thanks for wearing that Tampa Bay Rays hat, we need some luck this year!
All great. And Tony iommi all day long.
Chee always puts the extra bake on for Sabbath! Burn it up Chee!
Really good once it got going.

Not as explosive as some earlier stuff, but a fine transition to the middle period. ✊🏼💀🎶❤️✨️🕊
