Hi Andy Church.facade beautiful Love the little garden to see and relax . That ice cream looks yummy Can all most taste it. Some lovely propertys. Love the green space. Nice sit relax. Well is cute. War memorial respectful, with union jack flying .. Nice it has a shop, and post office. History of the mound interesting... But gruesome. Great the Bridlington is close by.. Brilliant video. Thanks
Been visiting Skipsea since 1998 as my uncle bought a house a few miles down the road in Lisset, we used to go bowling at Skipsea sands on a weekend (I was 11 years old then). Then in 2008 my dad had a caravan on Skipsea sands so I'd stay over almost every weekend. We'd drive down to the Board Inn for a couple of ales then back to the caravan site for a few more drinks in the club. Good times 😁 I've not visited since around 2012 so I bet the coastal erosion has swallowed a lot of what was there since my last visit. Cheers for the nostalgia Andy 👍
Really enjoyed that one, Andy, remember Skipsea from when I was growing up and my parents had a holiday caravan in nearby Brigham, and Skipsea was one of the nearest coastal places to us. Also remember all the erosion on that coast, we would notice differences each Spring after the winter storms. Would love to visit Mr Moos, too, the ices look delicious! 😋

Skipsea I remember parts of the village that are no longer there. Your record of your visit will be very useful to future generations.
I can honestly say that I have never ever heard of Skipsea Castle..
A very interesting and informative video so once again thankyou Andy..
No worries. Steep old climb up it let me tell you
Good timing. We are renting a caravan in Skipsea in a couple of weeks so its good to know about the local area.
