Great job as always Steve. Wrexham 1-0. Mullins gets off the snide. He finally looked like the old Mullins on Saturday. Hopefully he's finally back in full health. I think Evans gets the start over Cannon. I also would not be shocked to see Revan in for Barnett to try and be more fearlessly aggressive on the road when in possession. Go Reds!!!
Cheers my friend appreciate the props.........1-0, I'm ripping ya arm off for that right now...... points make prizes and 3 pts is a nice midweek bonus ahead of Northampton. I hope you're right on PM I worry for his confidence a little... a goal would rub that worry out........ I like George's style of play much different to the huff n puff of Cannon and you hit the nail on the head with Revan. I want to see more of Seb as when he's figured, he's been one of the top active players. And the at Aggression word is key here be non aggressive watch the game slip by... We need a statement performance. Cheers Grizlee I'm buzzing for this one..Lets Have it!!!!! CHEERS!🤙
Great show Steve, as usual. Yep, there will be drama, but i think we will profit from it. I predict a 2-0 win for us! And Mullin to score his first league goal. Cheers mate, PJ in Sydney :)
Hi PJ or Mr Sydney shall I say :) Thanks for the praise mate and I hope we do profit from it.......... 2-0 now sets up Northampton on the weekend nicely. I hope Paul does score for his confidence at the same time I would also like to see Jack score as well. We have another dose of drama and that's all that matters, be well fella Cheers 🤙
Top show again Stevie please keep bringing the Gold! My pred is a 1-0 away win at Stevenage with Marriot scoring #5 and Paul Mullin bringing another sub in cameo. Max hopefully gets back soon but ligaments could be anywhere from 3-6 weeks sooo Dan Scarr may be in for a run of games........... He is q decent defender! Ireally enjoy the stats videos you bring and remember you chatting ti PJ is Sydney as heès also a stats man like me. The lads need to show urgency from 1-90 minutes, if they do that they win BUT I do not want to see us pinned on the edge of our box. Positive thoughs everyone lets have another three points for a top six place in another 37 games!! UTT!
Another excellent post STS you and the family are bringing top stuff!!!! 1-0 you say, I'll take that right now, hoping for goals too. Marriot to start Mullin to sit is the safe bet right now and if he does get goal #5 VS Stevenage you called it! With Max I say he's gone until early-mid November, I had a similar injury with Port Vale and it ended my season. Thanks for your thoughts STS enjoy another top entertaining match CHEERS!!🤙
My prediction for the game Wrexham 2-1, I always enjoy watching your shows and your predictions . As a Liverpool fan since the mid 90's, I keep an eye on the lower leagues, mostly to see what younger talent will be available. As a side note, a former girlfriend of mine talked about her stepmother, who was from Wrexham, and her father, who was from Swansea, excellent football fans. So I have known about Wrexham since late 2001 with all the good times, and the very bad times and I really enjoy watching the recent great times. My season predictions are unbaised, Birmingham was heavily favored as the first place candidates, even before Stansfield's transfer/return. Birmingham, if they remain healthy, may only lose 2 or 3 games on the road this season, and I doubt they lose any at St. Andrews (possibly one loss), my predictions of at least 35 wins and at least 5 draws are genuine numbers to watch for, by the lads in blue. They could actually do better than that with money they have spent and may break all EFL leagues single season point talley records if they remain healthy. League 1 is now the battle for second place/auto promotion. So, the second legitimate auto promotion candidate is Wrexham, in my opinion. Although Max Cleworth is a big loss for Wrexham, hopefully not long term, Scar and Brunt will fill in fine as subs, but Max will be and is an impressive defender with great timing and smart offensive skill sets who is only going to get better as time go onward, definitely on the career path to premier league by age 25/26 either with Wrexham or with another team. In my opinion, Wrexham at home will most likely have 20-2-1 form (as we all know the Racecourse is a fortress) and an away form 9-7-7 or 8-8-7. They will be looking to avenge their away defeat at St. Andrews, that may be one the very few times Birmingham actually could potentially lose or draw this season. Bolton and Huddersfield will sort things out on the pitch and then challenge Wrexham for automatic promotion as well. It should be an exciting race to the end. Lincoln City, Blackpool, Peterborough, Barnsley, and Stockport will be in contention for a playoff spot. Mansfields manager Nigel is a true credit to the game like his father before him, and he deserves more attention. The Stags will surprise some people and could be in contention for a playoff spot.
2-1 sounds good my Liverpool friend & thank you for the kind wordsI appreciate it and the Senior Crowd is Boss! As a kid I grew up watching Liverpool teach Europe how to master the simple game..Shankly, Paisley, OH Those Were The Days My friend...Just like the song, it was a magic time! THEY TAUGHT ME THE GAME!, Also Brian Clough!!! :) BUT I gave up watching the Premier League years ago, it's commercialized Chaos, too expensive and the brand is not excelling but deteriorating! I have always enjoyed Wrexham even in the dead days, it was still better & more honest than premier divisions, it's my lane of enjoyment. I would honestly trade a premier league ticket for ant Wrexham game no problem. YOU WROTE......my predictions of at least 35 wins and at least 5 draws are genuine numbers to watch for, by the lads in blue. I SAY... Brum is already up only horrendious injuries can alter that. They have the squad and should not be in this division. Last year was a sad season, I won;t remind you who's fault it was. YOUR Wrexham number are PERFECT in my opinion..... 20-2-1 home form (as we all know the Racecourse is a fortress) and an away form 9-7-7 or 8-8-7. Wrexham in the play offs is again reality no doubt & and the other clubs mentioned again is On The Money!!!! We definitely have an interesting season ahead of both of us but at this stage we're both in good shape. Be well @CPM_1975 THAT WAS A MEGA POST!!!! THANK YOU, BRILLIANT!!!! 🤙
I am alower league fanatic being a Wrexham fan and if we get promoted to the Championship in the next 5 years thats good for me BUT I have no interest in the premier league wokeness! You post is amazing!
I would happily welcome Wrexham with the potential to be as "equal piers" of top 7 teams in the Premier League. Wrexham should be in the Championship next year, barring a playoff exit but I genuinely think Wrexham will finish second this year for auto promotion and can be in the Premier League in less than 4 years after that, and it would be great to welcome Wrexham players at Anfield. I agree with you that it is more fun to watch the lower leagues to spot the up and coming talent. Arthur, in goal, will keep improving just a few minor mistakes along the way. He has so much natural athletic talent. Keep that keeper for the next 10 years, "All great teams are built on clean sheets." Guess which coach said that phase. Evans definely needs more playing time with Dobson. O'Connell is not helping much now, maybe fatigued, but some of the Wrexham players have now clearly plateaued at the League 1 level. I can easily see that, and the major upgrade will be needed next year, 4 starters and at least 3 bench players will need to move to other teams.
@@CPM_1975 Wow as I read........ I genuinely think Wrexham will finish second this year for auto promotion and can be in the Premier League in less than 4 years after that, and it would be great to welcome Wrexham players at Anfield. Man that would be something!!! The constant references make for great reading also 4 starters and at least 3 bench players will need to move to other teams is something I covered a while back with a summing up..... Fall in love with your club and enjoy the players as they come and go But the constant... Your Club!.
Agreed Phil we need a win and I am not unhappy with the season that's for sure...4th in league two this time last year happy Days so far :) At the same time I love a tight match and this one will not allow a piece of paper in between, it's that tight... Now watch a 5 goal thriller LMAO!!!! Be well Phil, enjoy another Cracker!!! Cheers UTT!🤙
I think Mulls will start tuesday and JM in with fletch - at :75. swapsy changey next saturday unless mulls scores and dominates tues. One more yellow for dobs is a suspension…… unless he miraculously hangs on until week 19 😅
Hi Ken apologies for late reply all the YT mail dropped at the same time??? No idea why :) I hope Mullin starts and performs as he needs a shot of confidence pushing through those striker veins. I like the Mullin / Marriot combination, we'll have to keep it on the ground and that could be effective, very interesting! Geroge has picked up the cards at the same rate as Artur's clean sheets????? I think Phil needs to have a word but not grill him, Dobo's game is good and a few tackles were slightly late but not wreckless. If he hangs on to week 19 he will have been perfect and now Ken, I am watching George like a hawk LMAO ( Mr 19). Top points my friend, very enjoyable, get ready for Stevenage (should be my club with a name like that LOL). Enjoy the match, we need the win cheers 🤙 great post!
Ola Ricardo! Apologies for late reply but I never got this until recently... the mail was bogged down I guess.... BUT YES! you are right the scorer needs to be important and feel confident. Adjusting the midfield is now a must tactical change. Next show already in production, Northampton Town at the racecourse. Be well my friend & thank you for your post CHEERS!!!! 🤙
