Me again, can you make a step by step on pruning and propagating for Monsteras and show us closely how to chop for nodes pls 🙏 also I love your videos and your whole vibe!! You’ve helped me so much with my new plants and feel like there’s hope with root rot, pests, and how to make healthy soil. Love you 💜 lol
Hi again! I'll put it on my list ☺️ I just recently pruned 3 leaves of my own monstera and gifted it to a friend - luckily monsteras have really large internode spaces so it's relatively safe to prune in between, you can't go wrong! I'm so happy my videos have helped - I know it can feel really discouraging when you battle root rot and all sorts of pests (trust), but a lot of it is a learning experience and you can come out on top of them! Sending lots of love and encouragement back to you 😘🌱
Soak the plant heavily with water just before reporting so the soil will get soft. if its lots of roots or rock hard, this stick poking 🤭 will damage the roots. I do that any time😊 Ps. I've only found your chanel, and found it very helpful. Regards from UK
Oh that’s a good idea on how to loosen it up a bit - I would be a little too afraid of root rot though, have you had much success with this method? I would love to know!
@@simpleplanty I've never had as issues with roots afterwards. If its too much soil on it still, I wash roots in a bowl to see if they damaged or rotten too ( there is plenty root fertilisers on the market u want to add to water to give them some direct food, or solutions to prevent rooting if you repot ur plant due to overwatering). If you afraid to pot it wet roots into the soil, dry them off a bit on the paper towel and let it dry for some mins and wait with the watering plant for a day or 2. I've seen this method on a Polish YT chanel. Works for me. U may try with one plant how do u feel about it and if works for you 🤗
@@Zielona_Migotka really appreciate you sharing these tips - definitely will take note for next time. I’m going to do a massive repot in the next couple months!
