Recently I've gone back to do SP characters. I haven't played them at all since d2r launch, lol. 85sin for my lk runs, 78 hdin for general, 67 fire sorc for Andy soj farming. I've gotten a ber and sur from lk a day apart.
I restarted about 3 months ago from scratch and I cant find a ber or jah to save my life. I've cubed 14 sur runes into 7 bers so far lol. The nice thing about SP is you gotta get your own torches and annis. I like doing all that. I always use my first Lo to make grief for uber smiter. Ive been very fortunate to find 8 sojs since I reset. I kept 4 and got 4 annis :)
I actually did players 8 and was killing the mobs and because I haven’t killed Hell baal, it was great experience gain! I also got a vex rune from one of the smaller chests believe it or not away from the campfires
I think you are referring to the 6mf sc. If so, I play single player and cannot trade. The value of each item is only what it is worth to me. I have enough 7mf scs with mods to not need that. Its sad when I find a Maras with 20-26res cuz its an item i drop on the ground ground on single player because I already have so many high end Maras legitimately found. The upside to single player is experiencing what it is like to become godly with no trading or help whatsoever. Every hoto or cta I have I had to roll myself from my hard work. Every Anni required selling an SOJ. Every torch I had to find the keys and kill Ubers myself. Its a different way of experiencing the game. After being rich on battlenet and showing off it gets old lol.

Has anyone compared in a video the avg and types of drops for each boss and like farming 1000 champion packs and Unique packs. Then did a little math on it to see like is there a pattern of what has the most drops? what has the better kinds of drops? ETC. Maybe that can be your next video, I think the community would love to know if what parts of the game you farm will net you the best outcomes for gear amount and types. I know it will never truly tell you type cause the game is so random, but it's a little idea of the pacing of where you farm, a general ideas of how these things drop over time. I yes I can watch all the thousand run videos and have that info, but I'm thinking of you guys adding in champion packs and unique packs to the mix also.
Do you try to stop and pick up the gold when your screen is cluttered with loots? Sometime I’m afraid that the rune might be buried since the game doesn’t show all drops when there too much on the ground.
The chests will show an orange pop when a rune drops. If looking closely you can see it. This only works if you are already showing ground items before hitting the chest. I use the "toggle" setting for showing ground items only when doing lower kurast. If you have it set to "hold" alt to show ground items then it won't say "chest" as your mouse is over the chest. "Toggle" works best. I used a maphack to tell me when runes drop but I didnt actually need it during those 1000 runs. I saw each on my own.
@@BlakesSpace86 Yes, I do have the "toggle" on without having to hold onto ALT to show loots. So what you are saying is that when I pop the chest before the loots hit the ground I should be able to spot the orange pop? If so I will be more confident in going onto the next chest when the ground is cluttered.
@@clon8888 I think the faster frame rate of D2R makes the orange pop less visible. If you go into the "Video" settings tab you can reduce the "Framerate Cap". I am not an expert but I imagine reducing the framerate cap significantly would make the orange pop more visible.
What I've noticed personally.. Is let's say I hit a chest in a hut with 2 chests, and it drops a ton of stuff, and then I hit the second one and it also has a ton of stuff in it, the loot goes all the way out the door and out a little ways. And I Tele out and go look and have seen runes out there. Nothing notable but definitely check each time now.
I know what it's like to do 1,000 runs and find nothing. I've only ever found three Ber runes in Lower Kurast and it was well over 10k runs. Maybe 20k. Sur has the best chance to drop out of any high runes. If you do enough you will find Sur runes. Now that I think about it I did over 500 runs making this video and found nothing and started over lol
Don't blame the video maker for RNG. I got super lucky getting that ber. I have found 2 surs in 100 runs also. Everytime I play single player I do LK till i can make an infinity. Its the fastest way and its not that hard. You really cant judge rng from 300 runs at all. You could do 1000 runs and find a pul rune and then the next 1000 runs find a ber and 2 sur. Do 1000 then let me know how it goes. This ladder season i found 4 jah and 4 ber in trav but i did 20,000+ runs. You cant judge anything from 300 runs bro. Keep trying and good luck!

I've been playing for 15 years now and got my only soj 2 months ago...I saw no progression in the last 50 hours i've put in...I give up! hope you get to enjoy the game more than I did because I still think it's great.
pro tip: you can actually farm perfect bases for your infinity/enigma etc. armor and weapon stashes tend to drop the same stuff. So just reset until you get some good drops like threshers/cvs etc. This way I farmed multiple 15% ed eth threshers and even wartravelers 50% (a weapon stash in one of my resets dropped battle boots so after you do a couple of thousand runs you will get lots of unique ones) gl !
One thing I recommend to anyone wanting to do these runs in single player is level a new sorceress dedicated to only LK runs. I’ve got the absolute sickest map for it, and I don’t have to worry about losing it if I want to fish for better maps for boss farming or something else.
Are you using a mod? If so which one? The map I used for this video was mediocre because after rerolling a map 200 times you are ready to settle for whatever lol.
@@BlakesSpace86 No mods used. Just got insanely lucky with the WP and super-chest locations. I think it took three attempts. This luck on the map no doubt explains my lack of luck with the HR drops thus far. This second sorceress was going to be my lightning sorc for key farming, since I'm OCD and don't like switching gear. Then I found out you can get unlimited respecs in SP Offline mode shortly after I started 10 days ago. Thus I needed a purpose for the second sorc beyond burning sockets quests. The LK farm is it. With this map it's safe to say she will never, ever leave Hell difficulty.
Nice runs. I am sure you know this already but just a tip that I have found useful myself when doing LK runs is use cain to identify if I have that many un'id items.
Haha. I have now found 3 ber runes from Lower Kurast but thats probably 12k-20k runs. Lower Kurast is the BEST place for Sur runes. I have found 20+ Sur runes there probably. LK has more chest combinations for Sur than any other high rune. Easy to cube into a Ber. If you haven't found a Ber before then you need to focus more on speed runs and many many runs. Many hours lol. I found a Jah in Travincal yesterday but that's the only thing I have found in days.
Actually, I forgot how its suppose to look. Earlier this year I was botting and it changed the txt. I need to just uninstall and reinstall the game to fix that. I think I am going to do that now since I don't bot anymore. I am glad you pointed that out. Reinstalling now. Sorry I don't have the answer that helps but thank you😊.
Yes! You want 2 campfires both close to the waypoint. You want faster run/walk(I like to use mavinas belt and cats eye amulet) and use telekinesis to open chests. If everything is set up right you should be able to pop all 6 chests within a 25 second run
Found 3 bers a Sur and Lo in LK 800 runs not from super chest.. hollowed logs and random chest hit everything in LK...found a ber on countress run and and another in arcane sanctuary
Do you remember which monster dropped the Ber on the countess run? Each level deeper into the forgotten tower increases the monster level +2. I found a Jah from a devilkin in the 5th level. I read somewhere of someone else finding a Jah from a devilkin in the 5th level. Congats on your scoes btw!!!
@@BlakesSpace86 no actually it was either the chest pop near the countress or a ghost there was quite a few monsters near her when I killed her plus the chest pop I'm not sure if it was her or the chest or the monsters but I know i did get one from her area before I thought about it so much I got on UA-cam to tell them the Lo isn't the highest you can get from her after realizing it might not have been from her soo there u go lol I've gotten quite a few HRs from the ghost tho

I had been farming about 60 keys per day in all the areas and one day I was intoxicated and ready to go to bed and I just kind of zoned out and started clicking on the screen while my vision was blurred and I ended up in the left corner of The Forgotten Tower lvl 5 and the Jah just dropped and blew me away. About 2 days before that I found a Ber from either Nihl or one of the minions around him.
My gaming computer has a Nvidia GeForce graphics card which d2r has a setting to take advantage of. I think it's just loading fast because I have a decent gaming computer.

what lvl are you? im struggling to find hi runes for my javazon lvl 82, still in act3 , using peace, harmony and balrog uniq spear, still lacking dmage. :( pls help. playing solo.
My sorceress was lvl 94. 82 is a bit low. I would do baal runs if sticking to the Javazon to get more levels. She rocks baal. Sorceress is probably the best for farming. She can teleport natively and she does it the fastest. My runs were about 25 seconds. So many times I have started a ladder season or single player with a character other than sorceress but I always end up regretting it and making a sorceress to farm. Javazon has the slowest cast rate(teleport) in the game. Good luck!

@@TonTonBuenafe if you don't have infinity then make a blizzard sorc with a decent merc to kill cold immune. Put all skill points into blizzard and the synergies but you dont want to do that till about lvl 80. Use frozen orb till then. Blizzard sorc is wicked with some practice learning to cast infront of monsters. The cast delay gives a lot of time for defensive teleporting.
@@BlakesSpace86 my plan before was hunt for more hi runes using the javazon before making other char like sintraps, druidand necro, but now ill start with soc 1st. My only char in hell is the javazon but still in act 3, my auradin stuck in hell act1, my barb stuck in NM act1. Haha. So my only chance to farm hi rune is the javazon, been running hell countess, tombs and lowerkurast and travincal still unfortunate to have hi runes. :(
@@TonTonBuenafe I am not up to date with all the recent changes to the game but since you are playing single player without sunder charms and such I can say with confidence that a blizzard sorc is the absolute best starter character to get gear. I usually use ice blast until level 30 because it destroys corpses and has wicked damage but the mana cost is really high at higher levels. Then Frozen Orb at lvl 30 till 75 -80. I used to give myself all the best gear in the game by hacking and then just play single-player from beginning to end in one day reaching level 90 in the first day. I did this to experiment with the characters and learn what works. Plus any decent website on the internet will tell you to create a blizzard sorc when first starting out. Then when u get to mephisto in hell just use the trick to kill mephisto without him getting near you. Do a few hundred runs at that for good gear like arachnid's. Avoid cold immunes till you can make an infinity and get a merc who can kill a few fairly quickly. Keep in mind that for every level you get your merc will benefit far more than u will. Thats why u want to get to 85+ as quick as possible in my opinion.

how to save the map routes without restarting???
Must be in Single Player mode, for the maps to save (as long as you don’t leave that Difficulty, which your Character is in).

True, but the super chests are the most profitable use of time. 25 second runs is ideal.

These were pretty good runs. Have you consider just making a trapsin for lower kurast? won't have to buy keys anymore to open chest
Logs and skeletons have given me more HRS than any super chest in LK

Yes I did that a lot. Ive learned to identify on the go for better video clips really fast. Just needed to learn to use a hotkey to identify.

Put all skill points into blizzard and the synergies but you dont want to do that till about lvl 80. Use frozen orb till then. Blizzard sorc is wicked with some practice learning to cast infront of monsters. The cast delay gives a lot of time for defensive teleporting.
@@BlakesSpace86 my plan before was hunt for more hi runes using the javazon before making other char like sintraps, druidand necro, but now ill start with soc 1st. My only char in hell is the javazon but still in act 3, my auradin stuck in hell act1, my barb stuck in NM act1. Haha. So my only chance to farm hi rune is the javazon, been running hell countess, tombs and lowerkurast and travincal still unfortunate to have hi runes. :(
@@TonTonBuenafe I am not up to date with all the recent changes to the game but since you are playing single player without sunder charms and such I can say with confidence that a blizzard sorc is the absolute best starter character to get gear. I usually use ice blast until level 30 because it destroys corpses and has wicked damage but the mana cost is really high at higher levels. Then Frozen Orb at lvl 30 till 75 -80. I used to give myself all the best gear in the game by hacking and then just play single-player from beginning to end in one day reaching level 90 in the first day. I did this to experiment with the characters and learn what works. Plus any decent website on the internet will tell you to create a blizzard sorc when first starting out. Then when u get to mephisto in hell just use the trick to kill mephisto without him getting near you. Do a few hundred runs at that for good gear like arachnid's. Avoid cold immunes till you can make an infinity and get a merc who can kill a few fairly quickly. Keep in mind that for every level you get your merc will benefit far more than u will. Thats why u want to get to 85+ as quick as possible in my opinion.
