Thank you for following. :)
I think Smokey looks fantastic Mike and for what little my opinion makes I think you have the perfect plan for the direction you're headed with this project. Looking forward to see the Interior put in. Thanks.
Man Mike smokey is looking great that visor just made it. Can't wait for you to get it running and pull it out.
Man Smokey is lookin good Mike!!!
I enjoy your dad and all of his know how.
Would look so cool to have the lights on top too, more chicken lights the better
Smokey is coming along nicely, Mike. Good choice in cab lights and visor.
This truck will be looking good
Every time I see that side of the truck it reminds me of when you sprayed the spring on the little door where the dipstick is
with WD-40, and it magically started springing open like it is supposed to.
I've had moments like that before. It's funny how a little win like that can be such a big thing...
Can’t wait for yall to get these two done so you can start on the other One you have like Smokey and the 359! Your dad is awesome! I miss mine dearly we used to do carpentry work together remodeling homes and flipping them! Enjoy every moment and cherish them!!
I'm liking this renewed interest in working on Smokey. It'll be great. Can't wait to see it go.
Love the smokey content , mike you have come a long way with smokey keep up the progress
I really want to see this new interior... it's been in a box for a year or more 😬
Mike, if it was my truck, next job would be get it running and driving, next remove the cab completely and get the body giys at the workshop to paint it inside and outside, matt black inside then put the cab back on and then do the interior. Cannot see the point in doing the interior and then moving it plus with the remove you can get the frame rail painted too.
Cheers Paul
Keep pressing on and pushing forward and be steady. Its happening before your eyes and ours.😊
Coming along nicely ! A bit white aerosol around the windows if they are smooth and ready for paint an you could refit glass or replace . Good choice on cab extenders to . They finish off the cab depth . It looks really good tho well done .
Can't wait to see the other channel
great video mike ya looking good your just a guy with big tonka trucks
Looks sharp.
Mike... Smokey is starting to move forward.... Great to see you making progress 👍
On another note... what's up with the flashing light behind you?
When it's cold the LED light flickers and When it's warm it's good. Ugh
@@mikethetrucknut😅
Nice work Mike 😂
Where is Dad today? When we don't see him we become concerned
He's there, just doing his own thing. 🙂
Stubby is coming along, but I didn't see any blocks or some other support device other than the front jack. That seems a little dangerous to trust the jack alone for an extended period of time. JMHO.
Need mirror windows up top.
Wrap it,
Not a fan of that visor.
Hey Mike Smokey looks good now to get him running can't wait to see that and yes I remember the movie I'm close to your age I'm a 1968 model and I am with u my family has always been Kenworth people it kind of runs in the blood keep up the good work brother can't wait to see the new channel
Smokey is looking killer, can't wait to hear that thing running & driving..
THAT IS SMOKEY
Mike your Father and you have done some really hard work on Smokey, can not wait to see it running down the road. I have watched your channel from day one , I even mailed you two sets of New York plates for the wall, and you hung them very cool.
Mike don't worry about twin sticks he has his channel and you have yours he had his content and you have yours he has his way of doing things and you have yours and that's the end of the story.
GREAT LOOK. I can not wait till you start my FAVORITE truck K 2
You just are making real progress. Good for you Mike. Two excellent trucks there.
Maybe you could get TwinSticks to paint Smokey for you and you could help him out on 1 of his projects .
Mike, I think you are a little older than me. But you quoted Short Circuit, Johnny #5!
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Smokey is looking sooooo good Mike
You and your Dad are making progress on Stubby too!!
Smoke look really good ❤
I really like the visor. It's the perfect size in my opinion. I can't stand big drop visors. I think they look tacky,
and they block a lot of your vision. The worst part is not being able to see the traffic lights, if you are stopped
at an intersection. You have to bend over the steering wheel and look around the visor to see the lights...
Now that you have the cab lights mounted, I think it looks better not having the cab lights on top of the sleeper.
If we lived closer to each other, I would offer to do the paint work for you free of charge. Of course you would have
to buy the paint. I've painted show cars and multi-million dollar motorhomes before. Painting the cabover would
be easy.
I wish you were closer too... Yeah big drop visors are not practical at all. I want it to look good but not be gaudy.
new alternator ,belts & a chainsaw ? hummm Mike what about water penetration on that center cab light ?
funny thing about Smokey ... every time I look at her the paint job screams out Fire Truck 😁
Are going to start smokey engine next Mike
Well I'm going to start tearing into it...
Mike smokey is looking good can't wait to hear it run your doing a awesome job keep it up
I like the rave strobe light going on the whole time.
❤looking 👌 good Mike, it's takes time, but there's light at the end of the tunnel,😅😊
Mike, throw the sili$}{!t in the trash. Use a marine sealant, either 3M 4200, or Sika brand marine, or RV sealants. Silicone sealant is pure crap.
Best wishes to all.
Great video Mike Smokeys coming along nicely. Next get it running more to come after that. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Mike and Dad.
Coming along nicely Mike, looks great!
Doing well there Mike , I think I would of finished sanding the roof cap then tried home spraying it , if it comes out nice then fit lights windows and it’s a job you don’t have to do twice but if it’s still a 10feet paint job it’s something that could be done at a later date of which you could decide then to do your self or pay to be painted
that damn flickering fluro tube is driving me insane......lol
I can't wait to see the new interior Mike!! My 83 had the grey splendor interior and it was gorgeous!! I miss her!!
Just please put an original bumper on. Texas bumpers on a cab over just don’t look right.
Hey Mr. Mike and Dad, getting my Smokey looking good! I think this is my most liked truck! 😉
Smokey is looking great Mike
Survivability in case of a frontal collision and rollover situation in these fiberglass and riveted aluminum sheet cabs is slim to none!
I know the excitement your feeling, as you get closer and closer to the finish, take your time Mike, ok now get busy.😁
Keep it white the paint is cheap and it hides a lot of imperfections and is easy to touch up, My friend owns a fleet of white KW's and he buys white ones for that reason.
Looking good. Maybe next video you can show us what your thinking on paint scheme 😊
Hey Mike all those lights are going to leak but the rubber grommet is to keep the wires from chaffing
That rig is going to look really awesome 😊😊😊😊 when it's done😊
Both Smokey and Stubby are looking good, would be great to see a bit of what your dad is doing to Stubby😎👍
Smokey's visor looks sharp!!
Looks d**n good Mike, you have done a great job. You should be proud.
It needs clearance lights on top of the aerodyne as well Mike.
Mike unplug the flashing light !!!!!!!!!!!
Looking good Mike.
Visor looks great Mike.
Looking like a nice truck now Mike, good motivation 👌
Looking good Mike, can’t wait to hear it fire up😁
Smokey is definitely coming along nicely!!
James pretty uses a shovel to put the wheel and tire on
Coming along nicely 👍
That’s coming up nice. 😊
Looks awesome from the front Mike.
Looks awesome. Love that visor.
Good old frog tape.
You got another light out Mike.💡
Good job micke is loveli
That light is irritating
It’s motor time😊😊😊
Nice job Mike
Looking good!
Looks good
Hell ya
Yes.
Mike think i would be speaking some one in your company to see if they could do a paint job
That's what I want to do.
Mikey, love the job you’re doing on Smokey, he’s sure come a long way!
Another one of my favor lines from that movie, "I'm standing here besides myself" LOL
Looking good mister
A strip in front of that weather stripping for doors would probably go good on that cab light where it’s shortened and butts up to the cab.
Visor looks great btw.
She’s looking good, I can’t wait for more
Paint it BJ and the Bear theme it would be great!!!
Yeah I want it to be similar to the bj and the bear truck. Maybe not exactly the same since the cab is smaller that the BJ truck
@@mikethetrucknut think twin stick has a truck he doing b j&the bear he has stretched the chassis on it and put new stacks on and it running with jakes on think he been busy working on the peterbuilt now
