Someone once told me that "you'd have to be on drugs to continue to vote Liberal". I think it then became a strategy.

Children seeing open drug use increases the chances of them doing drugs! I was one of those children, and it took 25 years to stop. But I'm on saboxon a maintenance drug for withdrawal and pain. I have chronic pain. I destroyed my body from addiction. I worked my butt off all those years and used drugs to work longer and harder. I was a functional addict.
Sadly,I think it's what they want.

I have one but you will not like it.
I tried to get into treatment.....it was $35 000. So I struggled for 25 years. I'm on soboxan a maintenance medication for withdrawal and my chronic pain. You can't get high on it! Works great! More people should be on it! Methadone gets you high still so not a good option.
I have a good life now. I had a ton of counseling and support from my family as well. I couldn't do it if I lived in a tent, though.

There's 3 hotels near where I live in Windsor ON. They're filled with asylum seekers, some who have been living in them for years.
All paid for and each family receives 5000 monthly plus - out debt is exploding

Why are we bringing all these asylum seekers into our country, they are using up all our resources including, housing, jobs, health care facilities and many more, Canadians are being left out.
Federal government funds the prosecution and court costs for all drug charges. Decriminalization results in billions of money not spent on the federal level. All the costs associated to this policy would then fall solely on the province (health care) and municipal government/taxpayers (tent cities).

I had the misfortune to work with 2 crackheads (the claim is that they just smoke a bit marihuana) for at least 8 weeks. They measure things, make 4 steps, measurements are forgotten already. There drywall cuts look like a beaver has gnawed on the sheets. They constantly break things, trigger fire alarms, loose tools etc. They are total wrecks.

Access to hard core drugs has cost me the loss of several close friends. A lot of them were unknowingly addicted thru false food given to them. And now they have lost everything because of their addiction. It’s an ongoing tragedy!

I have to wonder if this is not a lot like the reasoning behind banning capital punishment. They banned capital punishment simply because it is less expensive to keep someone in jail for the rest of their life than it is to have them go through the entire appeals process required to keep them from being executed. How much money will we save by not going after hardcore drug users and their dealers? The problem of course is the impending crime wave caused by drug users who will believe they are free from the possibility of arrest and prosecution along with a jail term.
I'm sure the enemies of 🇨🇦 Canada strongly support this idea too. And I'm sure they'd like to see it in the 🇺🇸 US as well.

Legalization would allow for legal sale and unlimited amounts. This is NOT the same. But it does stop wasting police and court and prison time and money on addiction issues, and t allows the users to avoid living their entire lives underground in squalor. Stop playing "word games".

Well I suspect they don't want the expense of improving healthcare including mental health and addiction services or hiring more lawyers to process arresting the drug addicts though now they still had to increase police budgets because of violent crimes and theft etc. some committed by drug addicts too and no guarantee giving the cops more money means they will do a better job either just buy themselves some new cars probably ignore complaints. I suspect they want all the homeless on drugs and overdosing and dead they don't want to pay to support them they don't even want pensioners to have enough money to live with dignity either.
