2017 and still epic!!! no doubt bond is still the best selling quartet of all time. i just miss haylie. also, i always wondered how eos is able to play holding the bow like that. every time i see her play she holds it kinda awkward. her pinky is to stretched out and her whole hand looks a bit too unrelaxed, but damn! that girl makes the violin sound so beautiful. and her dexterity and speed dont seem to be affected at all!

It is interesting that electric "string quartets" seem to be making a serious impact on music. Remember, this group (and others like them) are playing a fusion of older-style Classical music with rock. (Mind you, so did the late Jon Lord, of Deep Purple, but not like this.) Nothing wrong with fusion, most music is a fusion of some sort. And Bond have done a superb job of it. (Though I fear Mendelssohn's second violin concerto might prove hard to convert.) Bond is brilliant in this video.

Pierre Der Eos is left handed. That’s why she holds the bow particularly in that way.
