BBC ONE Breakdown - Monday 19th May 2003

Usually, when I check my tapes, I usually fast forward all the programmes without checking and just stick with the continuity. But on this instance, with technical problems reported. I just had to check.
Due to rainy weather, day 1 of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2003 suffered a lot of picture problems during its live and pre-recorded coverage. Apologies about the jumpy picture caused by VHS lines, the tape had seen better days, but I am glad I found this though.

Odd to hear them just play the music without any announcement before at the first bit, usually before the music there'd be an announcement (or a couple)

Think there was another BBC1 breakdown caption that went on for 5 minutes that no one has known about on 6th December 2004 during Cash in the Attic. The issue was down to a dip in electricity supply down in the Crystal Palace area.

Oh right. That sounds like a good idea. With the earliest video breakdown (from around 1978), to the present day (which happened only a few days ago).
