No one can beat the original, beautiful, I always listen to this voice, now I can see his face, make the song more beautiful and interesting. thanks you.
Great song about a great prince....That's Ratu Edward Cakobau in the photo, son of King Tupou II of Tonga with Adi Litia Cakobau of Fiji granddaughter of Tui Viti Cakobau. He died 1973.
@@sione43 that's the half brother of the late queen salote of tonga....his mom is adi litia cakobau from the cakobau family......he is also called TUNGI FISI
The reply below is very correct ,sir , I tried many years ago at the request of some of my Pacific mates at Uni. I gave up at the first verse , and ended up making some effort to prose the whole song to them. It seems some poetry were meant only to be listened to in music , and left alone . However ,there is a Tongan musician and linguist who may be able to give the best attempt of translating . She is Dr Melenaite Taumoefolau . She lives in Auckland ,New Zealand , and probably still teaching at Auckland University . Regards
Thank you for this song..ive been searching it for quite some time. They dont play this on Tongan radio now days anymore..malo moe Ofa atu.
