He was born October 14th 1940 so two days ago he turned 83. This concert was in 2018 I think and he looked and sounded great. His songs were a part of my teenage years . Memories.

I am 88 years old (2023) and my brother and I both led Saturday nights singalongs at my parent's home playing our banjoleles and much of our repertoire were your songs. My brother and I modeled our harmony on the Everly Brothers - we really reckoned we were as good as them in our little NZ village of less than 500 population. So it was great to hear you sing some of the Everly Brothers songs. Most of our village folk loved you because you were a good clean living devoted Christian.
Thank you for being the inspiration of our little village - but also most of NEW ZEALANDS big cities and their Saturday night's "dances".
I became a CHRISTIAN UKULELE BAND leader in 2013 and led my band of 23 players at a Retirement Village concert in February 2023 before moving to the Philippines to serve the LORD with my fiancée. Wife - to - be.
