Patriots were already down 3 DBs, had injuries during the game, were playing special teamers. Bill still didn’t want to put in Butler, just infuriating.
Rigged superbowl, just like all Superbowls. I'm an Eagles Fan, but if the superbowls were actually pure football, Falcons would smoked the Pat's, we would've lost, and the Saints would've won in 2019. Can't convince me Bill didn't throw that game, especially since 17-18 Was the Year he wanted to go forward with Garappolo.

@@azazelvalentine1762 yeah it is. Now I believe with my whole heart the Falcons threw the superbowl. That was looking to be a SB 24 type game, When the 49ers smoked the Broncos 55 10.
Then at halftime the defense completely changed the scheme, but my problem was with the offense. Freeman Rushed for 100 and 1 TD in the 2nd QTR. Used 4 times in the second half, 3 times before their 4th TD.
Then instead of Running, they pass. Passing to the sidelines like their down 3 with 2m left on the clock? Not even Passing over the middle or deep to stay aggressive. Sideline throws. Up 25. With 15 minutes to go.
Oh and don't forget, snapping the ball with under 3 seconds every single QTR of every single game of the year, including the previous playoff games and even in the superbowl, to inexplicably snapping the ball with 14 seconds left on the play clock in the 4th QTR of a superbowl. Can't tell me that's not fixed for the Patriots to win.
Just like how the superbowl with my Eagles was fixed for us to win as well. A sabotage by Belicheck and an underdog story all year. Superbowls are fixed. Ask Dwight Smith about it too. He won and played in one as well. Every since Goodell became commissioner the NFL hasn't been pure football.

@@thomassankara1391 Don't watch the NFL anymore if you think it is rigged. The NFL is making much much much more money by not rigging the game than it will ever made by rigging the game. Do you know how many people you have to keep quiet if you decide to rig the game? All it takes is one person blows the whistle and everything will crumple. Why would they do that? And if they rig the game who are they benefitting? Do you think all 32 team owners will agree to that? And don't say the Casinos are going to pay them. Do the Casinos have money to pay the NFL or a team to throw the game away? Winning a superbowl brings a team so much more money than just winning a superbowl. It allows the team to increase ticket prices, concession prices, and so many other ways an NFL team can increase revenue. Do you think a Casino or whoever can replace that loss revenue? What about the players? Do you think they are willing to go along with it? This affect their paychecks along with the legacy which could mean loss future earnings potential. Likewise, do you think the coaches are willing to lose such an important game where everyone is watching? It also affect their legacy and future employments and earnings.

Not to mention that it isn’t hard to target an inexperienced cb. Like they just said malcom butler played the most snaps on the pats defense that season. But hey the eagles still won, this just reminds me of the raptors beating the warriors and the bucks winning last seasons finals. Are you referring to the drama with Brady and the coach? Coach took butler out of the game so Tom could go try to show he can do it on his own. That season there was tons of drama brady and his trainer losing his team privileges.

Without Butler’s interception they wouldn’t have beaten the Seahawks.
To this day as a pats fan it felt like this was the beginning of the end. Butler was one of our best players and as mentioned very many times played hard all season. It felt like with bill trying to send some personal message to him that the team was no divided. Players supported him just like players supported Tom and could start to see the signs that belicheck was getting salty with Brady getting credit for everything. This on top of the fact that belicheck tried to trade Brady in the same year he was on pace to win mvp is also what added to this.

I respectfully disagree. If it weren’t for the coach, Brady would’ve rode his career out on the bench. It’s not an easy decision to roll with an unproven quarterback during the first season, but yet Bill did that. Any other coach would’ve went back with Drew Bledsoe, who was a proven starter at that point.
