Wow she's got wonderful hair and the cut really emphasizes her natural curls. Personally I don't enjoy going to the salon. When you have thinning hair they seem to want to get you out asap sometimes they don't even want to style it.😥
So brave of her to get a haircut that can’t be worn without styling. Especially brave of the technician to cut curly hair with zero regard to the curl pattern. It’s going to look great when it’s styled, messy with random curls without the styling.

Generally, with naturally curly hair, you don't pull the hair taut and cut. My hair shrinks up, and my Stylist works with my natural curl, and salt and pepper on top of that, beautifully. The result it a perfect cut and style every time that I can easily manage myself
Oh come on that's the old style Dorothy Hamill haircut THE WEDGE from the 80s. She has beautiful naturally wavy hair that should NEVER BE CHOPPED OFF LIKE THAT!! I would have trimmed the dry ends, gave her an intense conditioning treatment called a SILK WRAP, then put a conditioning mousse through out her hair and allowed the hair to air dry. I don't understand why these hair stylists have to chop off women's hair.

Mr. Kenneth Siu only use Hikari Ray Cosmos 133, 7.0 inch. Everyone has their own preference and comfortable length. Maybe 7 inch hair scissors is suitable for Kenneth Siu's haircutting style doesn't mean you could handle it with ease. All the best ;)
THE WORST thing you can do with curly hair is cut it short. This woman looked much better with longer flowing curls in her neckline. She will only control that style with lots of products and blowdrying.
