- Whistler is a town 2 hours away north of Vancouver, British Columbia and is home to Whistler Blackcomb, one of the largest ski resorts in North America! In today's British Columbia travel vlog, we'll be exploring the BIGGEST lake in Whistler BC from a canoe. Then we'll visit Whistler Village to show you where to eat and how Whistler Village looks during peak summer.
Alta Lake is Whistler's biggest lake and embodies three beaches: Lakeside Park, Rainbow Park and Wayside Park. Alta Lake can get busy especially during the peak of summer in Whistler BC. Among the three beaches in Whistler we recommend going to Wayside Park as it is more secluded and less crowded. Here we rented our canoe from Whistler Eco Tours and got to spend our day canoeing and exploring the biggest lake in Whistler British Columbia, Alta Lake.
Made popular by the 2010 Winter Olympics, Whistler BC is still packed with summer and winter activities and we'll show you how you can spend your day in this lovely British Columbian town.

Are you coming by air or by land? because the border is only closed through land travel. Just an fyi☺️
@@NatandMax by air. But international students can only enter Canada when in person classes resume or travel restrictions are lifted. The Consulates recently resumed activities and visas will take a bit longer to be issued.
