I 💯% agree about race car issues on all point's. I live near Braselton's Road Atlanta. People doing dumb things in front of you, or driving super aggressive and reckless. Sucks, but it's a new year, and you two enjoy it.
The car is very striking to see on the road. There the car scene around here is pretty small. There are very few builds like mine around. Most people just see it because it looks so different to regular traffic.
Awesome vid. Thank you for your vulnerability. There's definitely some things I agree with. For me, my exhaust is loud. I ordered an exhaust cutout and have installed high flow cats to solve the sound issue with some personal convictions cause its great when you wanna... not so much when you don't. Of course, for performance, you don't want to add weight, but for me and my level of dedication it's a must at this point.
Well said! You have to balance your build if you are daily driving and whatnot. But if you’re going all out you can over look a loud exhaust for performance 👍
Great video and great points. I do have an unrelated question though. I see that you have the GTR hood in your other videos. I have the exact same hood on my E46 (vented). I’ve also noticed that you don’t have hood pins on it. I was so concerned to be running my car without hood pins that I was just about to order some. How has the hood been for you over the years without them?

Yes! I didn’t go into that aspect of it. It’s not as common around here. But it’s not uncommon to have some POS mazda 6 trying to show off.
I would not have thought that regular people who do not race cars somehow recognize a track build even if it is just an e46

I Just use the OEM hood latch. Works just fine! alignment isn't perfect. but I can't complain, only paid $500.
What series is this race car eligible for. Because I wouldn’t call it a race car if it isn’t for any
