I’m so glad!! I hope you enjoy stinchcomb (or other similar dorms) as much as I did!! It’s a great place to be and good luck with freshman year! Excited to have you on campus!
super helpful video and nice job with the room! My daughter is attending this fall...your room is even numbered, I'm trying to determine which direction the odd and even rooms face? What did your windows overlook?
I no longer have the TV, and so I don't recall the exact measurements but it was not very big at all (and I did not use mine very much). What I would recommend if your TV doesn't fit, and what I saw a lot of, is that people would put the TV on top of the tv stand, or simply use the tv stand as a bookshelf and bring your own platform/coffee table you can set the TV on.
Regarding the night stand, I bought a file cabinet from Office Depot and I think it was about three feet tall, and the top of it was I think about a foot by 18 inches? About however big a filing cabinet would be. There is plenty of space in the room to move things around and find what fits best for you! This was just the layout that I went with, but everyone does it differently.
Ummm… I think the room had like 4 or 5 separate outlet areas!! I definitely had quite enough for everything that I needed… but I also brought two extension surge protector strips so that I could use the power where I needed to!! And you will likely be able to fit one of those full size mirrors from like target or Walmart, although the room has an entire mirror-door for the closet so I didn’t need a mirror.
@@katebarclay7791 amazing!! thank you. i’m living in the villages and strongly dislike it so want to move somewhere bigger. the bed size is important lol!
@@aryana.marley Yes!! I HIGHLY suggest the deluxe suites like Booker-Stinchcomb, Zink-Allen, Patchin-Jones, etc. They have a fun living room space that allows you to hang out with people but not right in your bedroom! My suite-mate also moved from the villages mid-semester (the other room was originally unoccupied) and she really enjoyed the move! I hope everything works out!
the way you decorated your room is so beautiful. definitely getting some inspiration! thanks for sharing the video!
Thank you. This was so helpful 💜💜💜

Hey. This is so helpful. Do you remember how much space is under the bed for storage? Can I fit a tote that’s 18” high?
Only about a foot. You can fit more if you buy bed risers!
I am going to be staying in stinchcomb in the fall and i was wondering how big ur tv is? Also do you know the dimensions of ur nightstand? Thank you!

Hey. What did you use to hang the curtains? Were you able to drill?
No drilling was allowed, but I used command hooks to set the curtain rods on!
Sorry I know it’s an old video but are those beds xl twins or fulls?
They are full beds! The only twin XL beds are in the community style options.

Whats the cost now?
You'd have to check OSU's website and talk to residential life!
@@katebarclay7791 Thank you but could you please help to know about accommodation at Osu?
