@@gjxnd03 this from 3yrs ago but yeah best strategy to memorise is read 3x a sentence, look away and recite it, once u memorised do the same with the next sentence. Then keep writing the essay down till u fully memorise it. Goodluck

I attempted this technique a week ago. Remembered word for word, you can easily do upwards of 500 words in a few hours, and I imagine more if you’ve practiced the technique. Edit: It’s been over a year since I originally commented this and this shit is goated, personally I don’t do everything here, I just read a sentence or two, memorise, then write out that sentence multiple times or so. I’d imagine for lengthier essays 2000+ the technique in the video is probably more optimal.
yeah this method works so well. after I memorised all my eng essays for trials, just before the HSC I can do a whole essay in 25 min as I've miraculously remembered them from trials. I also have 10 000 words oops
@@McPlaySpot I just printed it out and read it over and over again until I memorized it. Trying to recite the whole thing and if I couldn't remember something I had to look back. I did this until I knew it all.
1. Highlight the different sections (Memorize essay on paper) 2. Write a paragraph 3. If you struggle with some phrases mark with another pen then remember and repeat until you learn 5. Get a good night at least 8 hours but no more than 10 hours

My husband is training to become a Ranger Instructor at Fort Benning and has to give a 15 page presentation verbatim tomorrow! Must be word for word. They told him "monkeys could do this" and originally gave him 7 days to complete it, but he was unable to get it done. They extended it again for another 2 days and he was still unable to do it and now reluctantly they're giving him one more day. I just stumbled across this video...wish I would have found it sooner! He's at Barnes and Nobles right now so I just sent it to him and he said he was on his way to get a red pen since hes already color coded all pages and has only a few memorized well. Not sure if he'll be able to get all 15 pages done but hopefully this helps him get past what he's already managed.

If you memorise your Essay in Year 12, does that mean you can write about any topic? Because if you don't memorise then most likely they give you a stimulus. Or do they give you the prompt beforehand and you can memorise an essay of that? I NEED CLARIFICATION!

Hi in step 3 when you write out the paragraphs should you write them out by looking at the upside down paragraph or just from your memory.
