You know that IVEs After Like sampels Glorias Gaynors "I will survive" right? So its clear why it dosn't sound super kpop. And Itzys song was made for the western marked so its actully smart to make it more american. Most of dreamcatchers songs sound like anime songs because its kinde there thing. Alexas song is already not a kpop song. It was prodouct for the american song contast 2022 in which she compited in and won. There for not a kpop song. A lot of this songs in this video simply follow a concept and in order to follow it the songs have elements/sounds of those concepts in them. I think that is the thing that makes you belive that this songs don´t sound like kpop.
