He's basically written as an omnipotent reality warper. The only way to 'win' would be to erase him and anything related to him from reality in such a way that there is no possible manner sensible, nonsensical, or otherwise that he'd be able to return to existence and even that wouldn't be 100% guaranteed to keep him down.

Thats because Bobobo isnt in the mainstream like one piece, DBZ, Naruto and etc.
One of the hypest thing in this manga is that many strong enemies would gradually become allies, and even the cool ones like halekulani (money dude), and over (scissor dude) are not exempt from being forced by bobobo to join on his ridiculous hajike-style combination attacks.

This is the first time I see someone on UA-cam doing a serious analysis about Bobobo's powers. Great video, Bobobo deserves way more appreciation and it's a shame that almost no one has read the original manga. Most people watched the anime, and that's it. Such a shame, the anime stops right before the best shônen arc in history.
Yeah the Reverse Maruhage Empire arc and Hair Kingdom arc are both great arcs that were sadly never covered in the anime as it was cancelled.

Japanese copyright laws are very different, so they probably wouldn't have been able to use Yugi or the DBZ characters in the anime, and even if they did, it wouldn't be able to air outside of Japan

the moral of the story is that ultimately, no matter how absurd a character gets, their power pales in comparison to complete nonsense joke shit. proving that jerking off over how powerful your favorite anime/comic book character is, is pointless, as no matter how impressive they are, they'll never be able to compete with joke characters. a serious character can only get so strong before their power becomes silly, so their potential is stifled, whereas a joke character's power is truly limitless

In a way, Akira had to make a whole alien species just to justify Goku when put in a more serious context.
Comedy really has one real rule and that's to be funny. I know that's pretty hard, but outside of that you have a lot of leeway for everything else. Bobobo is one of the series that takes that concept and runs with it faster then you can say BO.
Bugs Bunny still scales above BoBoBo though.

Bro Bobobo literally made me physically sick when I was younger trying to watch this. I kept trying to take it seriously and compared to other Shows and reality and it just completely broke my paradigm multiple times a minute so for the most part I had no idea what the f*** was happening and I just have to stop watching. So basically Bobobo is the personification of shitposting & is unbeatable because any attack will simply be nullified into a shitpost and any time he is shown "damaged" is just him being impressed with their shitpost.
He's best described as an anime character being able to utilize toon force. The most similar anime characters I can think of are Arale from Dr Slump and -Haruko Haruhara from FLCL-

Been waiting for a new banger, and this was very unexpected but even more welcomed, it was a classic anime and manga and I'm so glad you're covering it, very few have done such an in depth video.
I’m sorry for anyone who didn’t know of bobobobo’s existence before know, he’s a character that pretty much anyone witnessed first hand immediately made a silent agreement to never talk about. In sake of protecting oneself’s and anyone else’s sanity after their brain melts, since bobobobo’s powers are one of the only ones that can attack someone mentally in the real world.
To sum him up, bobobobo base abilities (outside transformations) are:
1. Immeasurable speed

... yeah, forget bobobobo being the strongest shonen character, to my best knowledge he’s just the strongest character in fiction. Which is why it’s usually forbidden to speak of him, due to his literally absurd power.

Some of Lovecraft's gods might be stronger. Nyarli and Nodens probably are, Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth definitely are.
So THAT'S why Bo-bobo is so underrated and hardly spoken of! I thought it was due to poor marketing and the niche aspect of it, but this makes more sense. I guess I just hadn't connected the dots post-brain liquification.

I honestly have no idea how someone could even theoretically beat him and I'm only 22 minutes in. You'd have to make the writers kill him off, but then he'd threaten the writers into bringing him back. Bruh
Edit: Actually, In the wandering inn, there's a skill called [Superiority Made manifest] which basically makes you able to something slightly better than your opponent in any situation. You'd still lose because he'd change your backstory into never using that ability for the sake of honor but it'd be a good shot

Haxs can't work on stronger beings, unless BoBoBo shows a feat doing it to a high outer character.
And BoBoBo doesn't have high outer scaling.
Even if I agree that BoBoBo has higher outer scaling, problem is MANY characters in DC/marvel have high outer casually and transcend that with multiple layers. Comics have high outer realms that have a fuckton of infinite to inaccessible transcendances on top of it.

Bad enough that he has a way to null abilities and i saw him do an infinite attack, then he has a list of OP moves on top of that. Makes me wonder how most MCs can even get through his show
There is a reason why gag characters (such as Bobobo or Season 1 Kinnikuman) are strong against power characters (Goku, Naruto, Ichigo, etc.) in the DS Jump games.
Arale from Dr. Slump or Mr. Myxlzylpt [spelling?] vs. Bobobo would be... something. A battle of S-rank reality manipulators capable of even destroying the 4th wall in the chaos.

@@viscountrainbows6452 Arale doesn't stand a chance. Mxy definitely wins against BoBoBo due to the overpowered cosmology of DC. The 5th plane of reality in DC is already high outerversal and Mxy is nowhere near as powerful as the 6d plane of reality where characters like anti-monitor, Perpetua etc exist.

Bobobo is basically the one character who uses Toonforce but who also actually acknowledges Toonforce as being a thing that exists instead of doing it unconciously.
It’s been awhile since I watched your vids. You always did cover very unique and interesting topics that no one else has. I’ve never seen anybody scale Bobobo. Haven’t seen that show in 16 years.
Considering that Bo-bo-bo is more or less a reality-warper, I'm surprised on how many people sleep on him.
Most people dont know who he is, the anime got canceled, the manga finished but it was practically under the radar by then, and then they kept him out of jump force for some reason, hopefully this series can get a reboot of some kind eventually.

I'm glad to learn that when I kept catching the show halfway through an episode and would have absolutely no idea what the hell was going on, that If I had caught it from the start I would have had just as much of a chance of understanding it. Despite never catching a full episode, the character of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo never has left my mind.
