Hi Gowtham, If you want to get into cyber security, you should start off by going through the basics of digital communication and computer network protocols which will teach you how the requests for information is handled, the various protocols like TCP and UDP. Cyber Security is essentially a deep study of how network protocols work and how data can be protected from exploitation of vulnerabilities. Where does the password matching process happens when we login to any of our accounts online .Either the websites server or my own computer which is a client..? And I wanna know where to report the software bugs of a company that i found . Am i revealing that bug will cause any threats to me..?
Hi Gowtham, The password matching takes place on the server you are trying to communicate with. For eg, when logging on to Facebook, your password matching takes place on the facebook server where your input string is matched to the stored password on the database. You could report a bug by just mailing the developer. Unless you exploit the bug for personal gains, then I don’t think you will have any issues. Cheers!
edureka! I have found a bug of a telecom network . Thats a programming issue there is a loop in the software that allows me to access unlimited internet with continuous 4g speed even after the data limit has got over ..
