What size is that Yeti water bottle used in the video? Hard to tell what size bottle will fit.

Thanks for this video! Kept me from getting it... I got the 20L before this one was available and it has always looked huge on me. The zippers ripped a bit after 4 years of use so I got the plain backpack...but that's too small for me. ripped a bit after 4 years of use so I got the plain backpack...but that's too small for me. It's a bummer that most of the features on the 20L that are a plus are missing from this one. Having the zippers that go up from the bottom to places without having to open the whole backpack is helpful. (Without having to move the zippers around)... Also the space in the main compartment is so tiny. I really wanted the backpack overall height and width to be smaller... but they also made the main compartment about the same size as the backpack, which to me is a huge downside. Bummer, NOMATIC has great backpacks... but sadly neither fit my needs.

I wish they had this size, I have the 20 liter and still haven’t used it much at all. The secret back pocket isn’t very functional which is absent in the 14 liter back which is apparent that it isn’t as practical to have.

Could you do photo/video comparisons of the 14l vs the 20l? This would be very helpful in a purchase decision. Thanks!

Great Review! Is there a huge difference in size of the backpack between the 14L to the 20L? I am torn between the two but I don't want to give up the additional features if I don't have to. I am on the shorter side 5ft.3" and hoping is a minimal difference. Please advice.

Personally, and speaking from my experience with the 14L only, I found the extra features of the 20L like the hidden pocket or stowable straps, primarily irrelevant. In fact, I like the back of the 14L better; more streamlined, less busy, and more elegant. There are four other elastic mesh pockets that you give up (two on the sides of the main compartment and two more inside the admin compartment. I haven't missed them really. 18 pockets are enough for me! HOWEVER... you have to consider what kind of trips you'd be doing since this bag, expanded to 21L doesn't fit much more than enough for two or three nights. Longer than that would be stretching it too much. If you need to carry more stuff, maybe the 20L would be a better choice. Also, keep in mind that these bags are not exactly lightweight when fully loaded. My 14L has excelled as a personal item on my flights (fits beautifully under the seat with room to spare for my feet), as a one bag for two-night trips, and as a daypack for an excursion to a waterpark! Note: I'm 5ft only

@@misstubbie1313Thank you very much for your thoughts! I got myself the Backpack 14L as a treat and I’m already considering returning it for the Travel Bag 14L, for that extra space. The weight is my biggest concern, so I’ll see first how “heavy” I can pack out the backpack I have now.

Really thought about buying this one, but wasn't sure if I wanted to drop $270 on it. Nice bag though. I really like clam shell/butterfly openings for travel backpacks, and this one would've fit me well since I'm only 5'4. Hard to find bags nice travel backpacks that are around this size for a relatively budget price. I did end up buying a Topo Core Pack on sale for $89, which is a 25 L bag that opens up clam shell/butterfly style.
