The first Resident evil movie was the only one true to the game. The only movie that brought some of the same feelings the game did. It was not a hollywood super hero flick with a tiny mila defeating an undead super monster with her fists and a sharp pipe. They could have done so much with the franchise.
The second one was actually half decent too and still fit with the second game and resident evil book city of the dead , just Alice's character was really bad,, If they did the first 2 movies in the same style they were done in, but kept the jill and Chris, Leon and Claire storylines they would have been really good movies everyone still talks about to this day,, but Paul had to cast his wife in an original role like he always does and bastardized the stories already existing Canon material
@@andrew-rn9ui yeah the 2nd one didn't slip as bad as the latter ones, though I am a little critical of resident evil cause it was my favorite game back in the day. Hopefully in 10 years if we are still around they will do a remake and make it gritty, Hard and dark with actual feelings of dread like the game.. No one likes to run out of ammo in the sewers in RE.. That's a feeling I wish they could transfer to the movies 😁
My god, everyone needs to get over "it wasn't true to game" so what? Lol, it's a movie. Would it have been cool to have a true to game movie? Obviously.... But it wasn't. Am I still gonna watch the movies? Obviously. 20 years later and people are still whining about not being "true to game" 😅

Whoever edited this film needs to watch Resident evil Extinction again. That movie was visually so gorgeous with all desert shots. This is just a big mess.

this franchise has been dead for 15yrs, or whenever the first one came out. it is too great a strain of incredulity to have this 50yr old woman, fighting monsters, when in reality the only thing shes fighting is low bone density & menopause

the camera angle made me headaches I love its story but the camera angles are not great it make my eyes hurt
