Thanks for the great video. I had ordered the complete Precision 24 kit with the 15 gallon tank. When I opened the box to find all the fittings and read the instructions, I got a little confused about the injection check valve. There was nothing in the instructions on how to install it. I wasn't even sure if I had one in the kit till I did a google search for one and this video was the first thing to come up. Thanks again.
No it would not. The Uni-Dose usually has 3/8" tubing, where this Precision 24 one is 5/16. For 3/8" tubing we recommend this one:www.cleanwaterstore.com/j-pro-22-metering-pump-parts/j-pro-22-injection-check-valve.html If you need assistance please email our support team at support@cleanwaterstore.com thanks!
Hello - it should be hand tight, no need to over tighten it. However, it may be leaking because the tubing is not pressed down far enough over the cone fitting. The tubing needs to be straight cut with sharp knife or tube cutters and then pressure down all the way on to the cone fitting so it bottoms out. If you look on page 7 of this guide it will show a picture of that cone shaped fitting: www.cleanwaterstore.com/technical/water-treatment-manuals/Precision-24-Proportional-Feed-Digital-Chlorinator.pdf
Do yourself a favor, use a duckbill valve not the ball&spring. The hard water fowls those up and you'll be pulling it apart for cleaning more often then you'll want.
I’m trying to figure out which one to go with between these two designs. The one displayed prevents backflow - which would save me from emptying a huge tank everytime I want to service my Stenner duckbill style model. Any thoughts?

Will this work with a uni-dose chlorine pump? Should I get this check valve or the value by Steiner?

How tight should the section above the check valve be? It always leaks for me.
