I do know there was an update patch that tries to fix some of the issues, but it's too little too late, in my opinion. The core design of the Update is still flawed even with the improvements in mind.
IMO like a lot of people the final island was MEGA empty, a lot of people including me hated it. Everything for barely any story to the disappointing final boss which is just a stupid arcade mini game. Update 3 fixes all of it in my mind, easy mode is there if player struggle(there is no shame on that) Update 3 bring so many stuff, the additional lore, playable characters, better platforms for like 95% of the time and titan boss rush with a better parry (easy mode is there if you don’t like it) and a better final boss (even with the cord being confusing and the camera with the trees is nothing against the pros made that boss horrible, is probably my favourite boss because of the challenge and how much epic cinematic goes into this If I am giving advice to other player, you can play the base final island but stick with update 3 because the base game has nothing good to offer you, if your struggle easy mode is there for you and you’ll see how much replay ability it has
