What's going on at about 4 sec mark? It gets to about 3k and sounds like it goes flat and then takes off. Also sounds like you shift manually right about that time. I'm enjoying your clips, I just purchased an 03 Envoy with about the same miles on it. Have you had your engine apart, or is it still all factory sealed. Sorry if you've covered this before, I just stumbled across your channel 15 minutes ago.
It had some tire spin on the launch. The 2600 Stall tends to flash up a little higher than stock. It’s the PCM doing the shifting automatically. Engine is all factory sealed - Never been opened. No gaskets or seals have ever been replaced. I bought it new in Jan 2006. Trans went out at 200k, Alternator at 223k. Just recently, 2 coil packs. Everything else is stock, including the serpentine belt. It’s at 247k miles and still running great. Hope you enjoy the mixed content and feel free to ask any questions.
That’s crazy I had a 03 Ls 4200 with a Yt tune and it was fun as hell. 275k when I bought it. Maxed it out at 142 on a 120 max Speedo 😭 love them things
There's gotta be something wrong with your tune or something, my stock TB 4.2 gets to 60 about a second faster and it's completely stock which is a bummer because I want to do all the mods you have except upping the stall to like 4000 and the rear gears to 5.13 as it currently has the 3.42. ua-cam.com/video/AVjy7iA9jdk/v-deo.html
Thank for posting that. The tune and the E-Fans were the best mods for the 4.2L. It's definitely quicker than it was before. If you add those to yours, then you'll probably go even quicker. I have the headers I'll be adding as soon as time allows. I'll then have it re-tuned remotely and see how it goes.

@@v8pontiacvent that's awesome that it's still stock inside. I'm headed out to watch more of your stuff. Keep up the great work
