I bought a ps4 in march this year because I never had the money for it but then I finally managed to get one and till that I always played fifa on PS3 but my PS3 broke... But I thought fifa on PS3 had a lot of glitches and bugs and shit but oh man was i wrong there! Next gen fifa has a lot more bullshit
idndyzgaming okay I don't now never had a pc that was good enough to play games on tbh.. but I remember one time on ps2 on fifa 11 or 12 I played against my brother and he got a penalty and I stopped the ball with my gk it went behind so it had to be a corner and all of a sudden fifa said that my brother had scored a goal that was one of my first ever real big glitches on fifa so no matter what console or generation fifa had bugs on ps2 PS3 and ps4 so probably on the original Xbox and 360 and one too also on PC and probably when ps5 comes out it will still be there
They've made a few patches and made the game worse. Just like last year. I don't ever see it getting better now. They don't care because they know enough people will pay for ultimate team regardless

Yeah I was doing an arsenal manager mode, and they played Matip on the right, no Arnold at all, and subbed Van Dijk on in the 85th minute. This game makes no sense, I’m just glad I did the free trial and didn’t buy the game

If you want to play FIFA 20's career mode without bugs, buy FIFA 19. If you buy it on PC, you can mod the kits, update the squads and voila - FIFA 20 career mode (except you can't make your avatar a woman).
Another thing that's rly horrendous is that you can't edit players appearances on CM bc it will delete the players secondary positions and if you edit a RWB, LWB, CM, RW, LW or CF (so basically positions that you can't pick when you create a custom player) it will also change their first position and therefore their overall. It doesn't affect the gameplay or whatever but it's just annoying.
The 99 glitch killed me. I was doing a Bradford City RTG in the beta and i was a good 2 years in and out of nowhere ALL my bench players and a few starters randomly turn into 99 OVR. Some might say that’s good but it ruined the whole thing for me.
A way to counteract this is when you go into the side select of the game add a new controller on the other team, go into team management and play the proper line up, then go into the game and disconnect the second controller
It was happening even in FIFA 19. I remember that at the end of my career save i wanted to simulate few seasons to see how my players progressed etc and after each season, the worst players had the most amount of games played and my best players not played at all almost. I even stopped the simulation few times to set my best players to the starting 11, but the AI still didnt used them. So i guess it is happing also to AI teams and also in FIFA 20 again. So this wont be fixed since its there for many years, people are reporting it and they don't fix it
The best solution to this is turn on your second controller and select the best/ most realistic opponent lineup. I've had to do this for the past two fifa career modes. What annoys me more in these career modes is the AI transfers. Every team sells all their full backs, especially the big teams, but don't replace them with better players. The game seems to think "I need Liverpool to raise 90m to buy icardi, so I'll sell 6 defenders in a single transfer window for 15m each to raise the capital to sign a striker that Liverpool don't need". They need to balance this out, or reduce transfer fees to stop this happening. I imagine it still happens in fifa 20,so I won't be buying
In FIFA 19 during career mode I checked other divisions every so often. Every time I checked the league table had rewritten previous results. A club would go from having lost most of their early games, to then having won several, to then having lost them again. So they would have won fewer games a couple of matchdays later than they had previously been shown to win. I bet they haven't fixed that.

Mate on fifa 19 I was playing as spurs and watford won the league man utd relegated arsenal 14th man city 10th and liverpool was 8th but the top four was watford 1st spurs 2nd Fulham 3rd and West ham 4th it is so annoying but EA will never care about this as it doesnt make them money on a regular basis

This career mode is actually pretty good, it’s a huge leap forward in comparison to recent years, I have been playing the EA access early access and havnt had this problem once, it might just be an individual thing but I am loving this career mode and can’t wait to play more
I've only started with a New York Red Bulls career mode because their transfers were pretty much spot on but my main gripes with career mode are, the cut scenes are already stale after only 5 hours of my trial, the removal of triangle to access messages is incredibly annoying, the fact squad hub and transfer shortlist have been removed from the first tab is nonsense, for some reason the order of players by position in the squad hub is different and lastly, if you edit a player whilst in a career mode and his position is either LW/RW, CM or wing back, once you confirm any changes like boots etc then their position will change to either LF/RF, CAM or LB/RB, that causes their overall to drop if their stats don't match as well with their new position. WTF EA...
This is 100% game breaking if it's not fixed quickly. One other thing that's just as big of an issue as this is the match/season scripting that's so obvious, and makes the difficulty of matches unbalanced regardless of the opponent. Rather than each game being unique and presenting an accurate representation and challenge of the other team, each game feels part of a bigger overall season script. The game will always give you enough "easy" games over the course of the season to do well regardless of the strength of your team and who the opposition is. But then it will give you enough challenging games to keep it interesting - usually these are the ones where a minow side turn into prime Barcą in a cup tie. Whenever I play a big side they rarely play well and are easy to beat, but then next game in the league cup against a lower tier team they actually feel like more of a challege. It just shouldnt be like that, and I just wish that each game felt like the relative challenge it should be. Playing a big side should always be difficult and you should be able to play a reserve side in cup ties knowing that the a weaker opponent won't play have 70% possession
smaller teams sometimes beat the big guys in cup matches so maybe ea tried to give smaller teams an advantage when playing against you to make it more realistic

Why can't the people that work on Fifa Career mode side at EA(They said there was new team of developers that especially work on CM) invite or hire actual Fifa UA-camr/UA-camrs (1-2) that knows CM inside out. Doesn't have to be full time, but just as someone there that will actually play the game, play full seasons of CM and see what needs to be fixed before released and put any ideas and input in the game to help the developers that obviously have no clue or never played career mode. It's like they add stuff and change stuff but don't have anyone there who is actually remotely a Fifa CM fan or knows.plays it, so they release this broken bs. This is Disgraceful ffs. It comes out in two days and I'm meant to be excited and ready to smash a career mode. But I'm not even that excited to play it or get it even though pre ordered. If it's unplayable once I buy, I'm just going to leave it sitting there and keep playing NBA2K, least they care for career mode and they're users(apart from VC stuff). But seriously every UA-camr needs to get hashtags going & trending if the game is unplayable and get EA to change all things in the first system update not months later.
Your idea is good in theory but the games development cycle won't allow for it, with a game being released every year there wouldnt be enough time to put in something new, have it tested and then keep trying to fix it to get it working. Something like this bug isn't a good look but it will probably get fixed in a patch update quickly but it is still disappointing tbh

For the Man. City one, the person is controlling them as the only way you can see the Squad Hub screen with all of the players’ stats is if you are using that team, as also emphasised by the Man. City badge on the home screen. The others are all legitimate though and it is an issue that needs fixing.

I edited the Man City, Liverpool players to all 90 over all (well there real life first eleven and first choice subs) I then got rid of some of the players that were completely unrealistic to be playing the prem and essentially gave them both a very small squad. I also did similar to Chelsea and Arsenal, Spurs, Man United squad but made sure they were all a joint rating of around 85-87 and again got rid of players where it would be completely unrealistic for them to play in the prem at this present moment. It worked for me and gave me a much better experience in the past, hope this helps.
This also means they are all in the top 8 atleast throughout the season, like in real life and City and Liverpool never dropped out of the top 4, and were very tough to beat.
Good point, I found FIFA 19 to be okay (helps when it's free) and the tables were pretty accurate except 75 points would win you the league and £80 million will buy almost anyone - unfortunately, £80 million apparently only gets you Wilf Zaha now!
I think it has to do something with dynamic potential. So if youth players wouldn't play then their potential or even their overall may drop for no reason. The fact that loaning players out is the hardest thing to do doesn't help either.

On my first season of a new career mode Liverpool got relegated with Chelsea finishing 17th and top 4 was Leicester, Manu, Man city and Everton finishing first ( I finished 7th with arsenal)
My guess is in the beta AI werent affected by team morale and to fix it they tried to improve it but made it worse. Thats all good, sometimes changes make things worse. It happens. But for it not to be tested is not acceptable. Every element you change in beta should go through a massive testing phase. At the very least they should have someone simming a few season to make sure it works as intended
They went from Brighton winning the league with 7 losses and 7 draws to Man City winning with no losses and every season over 100 points or close to. Way to fix it EA!!
Another problem is that the game doesn't know how to rotate players. If you play a two-fixture final, you'll notice how the opponents players are often less than 50% stamina.

Honestly I didn’t experience this so far I played with Norwich against city and they play their strongest XI

Mate on fifa 19 I was playing as spurs and watford won the league man utd relegated arsenal 14th man city 10th and liverpool was 8th but the top four was watford 1st spurs 2nd Fulham 3rd and West ham 4th it is so annoying but EA will never care about this as it doesnt make them money on a regular basis

This is what does my head in anytime I pick city , playing against all the top teams they have there second team out and it just takes the realism out of it for me , and when ur doing manager interviews they ask the same questions over and over again , I’m debating now to even buy fifa this week it will never change

Duval In The Wall when I played the demo of fifa 19 the demo seemed to be much faster paced and enjoyable than fifa 20 . Fifa 20 was released yesterday(Australia) So i didn't hav much time to adapt to the gameplay before making this comment.

This career mode is actually pretty good, it’s a huge leap forward in comparison to recent years, I have been playing the EA access early access and havnt had this problem once, it might just be an individual thing but I am loving this career mode and can’t wait to play more
Fifa should do an algorithm that compares rating and position on table to decide how good should the player be...
I've only started with a New York Red Bulls career mode because their transfers were pretty much spot on but my main gripes with career mode are, the cut scenes are already stale after only 5 hours of my trial, the removal of triangle to access messages is incredibly annoying, the fact squad hub and transfer shortlist have been removed from the first tab is nonsense, for some reason the order of players by position in the squad hub is different and lastly, if you edit a player whilst in a career mode and his position is either LW/RW, CM or wing back, once you confirm any changes like boots etc then their position will change to either LF/RF, CAM or LB/RB, that causes their overall to drop if their stats don't match as well with their new position. WTF EA...

This is 100% game breaking if it's not fixed quickly.
One other thing that's just as big of an issue as this is the match/season scripting that's so obvious, and makes the difficulty of matches unbalanced regardless of the opponent.
Rather than each game being unique and presenting an accurate representation and challenge of the other team, each game feels part of a bigger overall season script.
The game will always give you enough "easy" games over the course of the season to do well regardless of the strength of your team and who the opposition is.
But then it will give you enough challenging games to keep it interesting - usually these are the ones where a minow side turn into prime Barcą in a cup tie.
Whenever I play a big side they rarely play well and are easy to beat, but then next game in the league cup against a lower tier team they actually feel like more of a challege.
It just shouldnt be like that, and I just wish that each game felt like the relative challenge it should be. Playing a big side should always be difficult and you should be able to play a reserve side in cup ties knowing that the a weaker opponent won't play have 70% possession
smaller teams sometimes beat the big guys in cup matches so maybe ea tried to give smaller teams an advantage when playing against you to make it more realistic

The problem is it happens way too often, and the way some of these smaller teams play its like playing a team full of Messis. The game must literally add 20+ skill points for every attribute for every player that's on the pitch for them for that to happen. It's just stupid.
Why can't the people that work on Fifa Career mode side at EA(They said there was new team of developers that especially work on CM) invite or hire actual Fifa UA-camr/UA-camrs (1-2) that knows CM inside out. Doesn't have to be full time, but just as someone there that will actually play the game, play full seasons of CM and see what needs to be fixed before released and put any ideas and input in the game to help the developers that obviously have no clue or never played career mode.
It's like they add stuff and change stuff but don't have anyone there who is actually remotely a Fifa CM fan or knows.plays it, so they release this broken bs. This is Disgraceful ffs. It comes out in two days and I'm meant to be excited and ready to smash a career mode. But I'm not even that excited to play it or get it even though pre ordered. If it's unplayable once I buy, I'm just going to leave it sitting there and keep playing NBA2K, least they care for career mode and they're users(apart from VC stuff).
But seriously every UA-camr needs to get hashtags going & trending if the game is unplayable and get EA to change all things in the first system update not months later.
Your idea is good in theory but the games development cycle won't allow for it, with a game being released every year there wouldnt be enough time to put in something new, have it tested and then keep trying to fix it to get it working. Something like this bug isn't a good look but it will probably get fixed in a patch update quickly but it is still disappointing tbh

For the Man. City one, the person is controlling them as the only way you can see the Squad Hub screen with all of the players’ stats is if you are using that team, as also emphasised by the Man. City badge on the home screen. The others are all legitimate though and it is an issue that needs fixing.
You can see any teams players appearances....

I edited the Man City, Liverpool players to all 90 over all (well there real life first eleven and first choice subs) I then got rid of some of the players that were completely unrealistic to be playing the prem and essentially gave them both a very small squad. I also did similar to Chelsea and Arsenal, Spurs, Man United squad but made sure they were all a joint rating of around 85-87 and again got rid of players where it would be completely unrealistic for them to play in the prem at this present moment.
It worked for me and gave me a much better experience in the past, hope this helps.
This also means they are all in the top 8 atleast throughout the season, like in real life and City and Liverpool never dropped out of the top 4, and were very tough to beat.
Teams need to be getting like 90+ points too especially Liverpool n city
Good point, I found FIFA 19 to be okay (helps when it's free) and the tables were pretty accurate except 75 points would win you the league and £80 million will buy almost anyone - unfortunately, £80 million apparently only gets you Wilf Zaha now!
I think it has to do something with dynamic potential. So if youth players wouldn't play then their potential or even their overall may drop for no reason. The fact that loaning players out is the hardest thing to do doesn't help either.

On my first season of a new career mode Liverpool got relegated with Chelsea finishing 17th and top 4 was Leicester, Manu, Man city and Everton finishing first ( I finished 7th with arsenal)

My guess is in the beta AI werent affected by team morale and to fix it they tried to improve it but made it worse. Thats all good, sometimes changes make things worse. It happens. But for it not to be tested is not acceptable. Every element you change in beta should go through a massive testing phase. At the very least they should have someone simming a few season to make sure it works as intended

Another problem is that the game doesn't know how to rotate players. If you play a two-fixture final, you'll notice how the opponents players are often less than 50% stamina.
