- Have you ever wanted to go to Hawaii but opted against it because it was too expensive? Well, seek no further because camping is the way to go to visit Hawaii on a budget! My twin sister, her baby and I went on a week trip to Kauai (Garden Island) and explored the island by car and stayed at several different camping grounds. We stayed one night at Anahola beach campground, 4 nights at Anini beach and 2 nights at Polihale State reserve campground. In my Hawaii-episodes I show you the entire camping experience, how each campground compared to the other, pros and cons, and ofcourse I take you along all the sightseeing we did on the magical island of Kauai, Hawaii.

Have you been to the Garden Island of Hawaii? Kauai is truly magical, let me know below what your favourite island in Hawaii is
Glamping on a budget ;) Loved the bedding hahaha. Beautiful scenery and lovely to see you both on this adventure. Just don't offend those tree huggers! I am wearing some Lululemon right now :D hehehehehe
Hahah I consider myself a free hugger too, minus the lululemon leggings and dreadlocks that is 😂
Absolutely love the way you captured this!
Ohh thank you so much 🥰🥰
My absolute favorite! Honestly prices in Hawaii are shocking and this was just the BEST idea! Plus ransacking Walmart to get all the gear was so much fun😂
Hahah yes that was awesome indeed 🫣😂😂 Walmart is mega overwhelming though 😅 can’t wait to go back to Hawaii one day 🌺
Amazing place Kauai!!
One of the most magical places I’ve been 😍🤩
Wat a gorgeous nature!!!
Isn't it so stunning? One of the nicest places I have ever been:) !!
Time for some catching up of one of my favourite YT creators and very pretty lady
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 thank you so much 🙏🏻🙂❤️
hi I’m planning on visiting Kauai later this month and was actually thinking of camping as the hotel/ Airbnbs costs are just crazy atm. I was wondering how easy it is to find camping equipment/ rent out there and if you have any tips? Really enjoyed your Kauai series 😊
Yes this is a smart decision to go camping that’s exactly why we did that, to cut costs. So, we bought our camping things prior and I’m not sure if it’s possible to rent equipment or how that works. But my advice to you is this; you can pre-order/buy your equipment at Walmart and organise a pick up once you get to the island. That way, you will be sure to have all you need when you arrive and won’t run into any surprises. The prices of Walmart equipment in Kauai is the same as mainland USA. However be prepared to pay expensive prices for food. It’s pretty surprising how expensive it is. Let me know if you have other things I can help you with :). Btw, I recommend Anini beach and Polihale. They are both magical. ☺️☺️☺️ so glad you enjoyed my Kauai series ♥️♥️♥️
We have been looking into camping for our trip, but I could not find any information on whether or not people leave their things in their tent during the day( while they were exploring). Would you mind talking about what you did.
Well, we did leave our luggages and food in the tent during the day when we went to explore the island. Nobody ever entered our tent and nothing was ever taken either. But, as a precaution, don’t leave valuables (just in case), just leave those in the car when you are sightseeing I would say. It’s also a good idea to befriend your neighbours so perhaps they can have a lookout for your tent when you’re out and about as well. All in all, I thought it was safe to leave stuff.
