So nostalgic, i still remember playing the demo disc with this game in it. The demo had only 2 characters: Heat and Pinky and one stage w/c was Heat's. Once i got my hands on the full game i loved it alot especially this Song and Kitty-N's.
@Hornets Nest Nah man , her Japanese doesn't sound anything like this. The female singer for the Japanese is a bit more nasaly than Crystal Kay. There's also the fact that she has a certain way of accentuating her sung lyrics that you find present in the English version and pretty much any of her songs, English or Japanese.
@Limitsora999 Actually (according to the wiki page anyway) waratte pon translates to "Crack a Smile". "Shorty & the EZ Mouse" is just the name of the English version.

i like this more. just because this is what i heard in my childhood. and it's soooooooo shorty :3 especially when she talks in between singing. the english version sounds too old for my taste.
aunque nunca lo aprendí a jugar pero siempre me han gustado esas canciones solo quisiera saber el nombre de la cantante en japones tal ves nunca lo sabre o lo sabremos
The singing's better in the English version, and that's the one I know best so I have a soft spot for it, but this one feels more appropriate to the character of Shorty -- who's a kid. Her off-keyness and lack of vibrato somehow communicates the fact that Shorty's a young kid who doesn't want to grow up -- grownups use vibrato XP
The english version (and I HATE dubs) sounds far more professional. This sounds like some random schoolgirl singing along to a karaoke track, due to her not sustaining notes or using vibrato like the english singer does.
Anyone saying this sounds better in Japanese is just a weeabu (or real Japanese). This version sounds horrible. It has no rhythm at all, the singer sounds bored. The English version is WAY more upbeat and peppy.
I don't agree.... It sounds as what a kid would sound, not everything needs to sound 100%professional vest vocal to be good, I think is endearing. And don't assume stuff please....
this is my favorite song in the game
i love this music as hell loves fire!
like 12 years hearing and still preffer to play it anytime
OMG OMG!! I LOVE IT!!!
definitely the best ver. but both i love o so much!

@creamyumi
Fun fact, the English version was sung by Crystal Kay.

@@TheNovaFox: They said 'the English version'. The Japanese and English versions of this song are sung by 2 completely different people.
The Japanese version is sung by Rena Genga, I didn’t like the US version when it came out lmao so I never knew who did that version

pd: La version japonese "bust a move" son mil veces mejor los temas xD
BOTH versions are GOOD, JAPANESE or ENGLISH !
i like this more. just because this is what i heard in my childhood. and it's soooooooo shorty :3 especially when she talks in between singing. the english version sounds too old for my taste.

Watch you dirty mouth you dork

@ddazza7447 me too! now I must learn Japanese to know what the heck I'm singing
@andrewkip Everythings better in Japanese.
whats the title of the song guyz!
can someone upload the english version of this?
english < japanese
The singing's better in the English version, and that's the one I know best so I have a soft spot for it, but this one feels more appropriate to the character of Shorty -- who's a kid. Can someone make EBOOT for psp?
yeah i like the english one better
dammit!! i'm metalhead why is supposed to be here?
i listen to job for a cowboy. infant anihilator and derivates. Pride sayin I love dis
The english version (and I HATE dubs) sounds far more professional. This sounds like some random schoolgirl singing along to a karaoke track, due to her not sustaining notes or using vibrato like the english singer does.
Opino que en el juego la primera versión, tenía mejor las canciones en japonés, y en la segunda parte, prefiero la versión en inglés.

@andrewkip agree u~~~~~~~~~japanese is better
If you're not japanese why would you be playing the japanese version of the game? I'll never understand the love of having to read subtitles.
Darren you'll never get it bc u are an English speaker 😁
AUDIO HI JACK DOWNLOAD IT
FOR MACS ONLY
english > japanese
Yikes. I’ll take the American version any day. I found this version by accident… 😬
Anyone saying this sounds better in Japanese is just a weeabu (or real Japanese). This version sounds horrible. It has no rhythm at all, the singer sounds bored. The English version is WAY more upbeat and peppy.
Buuut, I also agree about the english singer, japanese singer sound bored.

I actually think the English Version is better, which is rare.. She sounds so flat, English wins this time.
