Hate to lose Woodyard but wish him the best!
The first caller that said "yeah your a 5⭐ but theres 20 other 5⭐'s here" that isn't true anymore.. we really don't & it's sad but true.. were pulling in straight 3⭐'s and losing alot of our 5⭐'s and im not very confident in the people were bringing in like i was when Saban was running things..
We might have 20 other 5⭐'s at other positions but at strong safety were down to like 2 people and things aren't what they were.. i don't ever see people calling it for what it is were losing 5⭐'s and replacing them with 3⭐'s which there isn't anything wrong with that sometimes your better off that way but the ceiling isn't quite as high with less talented players
If one of our starting safety's gets hurt were screwed.. I hate it but im not afraid to admit it.. things aren't what they were i was hoping the standard and everything would stay alive without Saban but it's just not realistic to expect in todays college football world
If Peyton Woodyard had nailed down a starting job in spring practice, he wouldn't be transferring. That means that whoever will be the starter is better than him at the job. Bama has 4 or 5 highly-ranked players transfer out every year. Remember Jalen Hurts, Jerome Ford, and Drew Sanders? They all left because they couldn't beat out another guy for the position. But they're all in the NFL today.
For those of us who don’t have the inside knowledge about all current (especially new) Bama players it would help a lot for you to mention their positions when talking about a player entering the Portal or joining or considering Bama. Thanks.

Dang Losing Woodyard is going to hurt.Lets not all sit up here and ack like we didn't rave over this kid!! But, Don't worry we are in good hands. We have a Charlotte Bill belly or whatever Dude is from!! Shit, keep losing 4*-5* type players and replacing them with 1-2* players ..we'll be alright 😢.I hope... Basketball is now Bama's big dog In sports.
💯 DeBoer loses Downs Amos Ricks Woodyard and now Mitchell but gets zero blame. Everyone else's fault but Deboer's. But we're told "just wait till the spring portal opens DeBoer is going to make up for those losses". Well portal's almost closed and who's he brought in at corner? Couldn't even land Ed Woods. When DeBoer couldn't land his OWN guy Muhammad out of Washington back during the prior portal and settled for second tier defensive coaches that was a BAD sign.

If you really like bass fishing kyle we have some good places to go around Athens, Florence & Decatur in North Alabama they have had the bassmaster tournament here a few times and they also have local tournaments that you can fish in all the time

Not everyone can do the work it takes to be a winner. He is probably doing Bama a favor by jumping in to the transfer portal. But, all the best to him.

We still have Tony Mitchell.. Saban deciding to keep him on the team when he got arrested really saved our butts because without him were screwed at depth.. we lost Caleb Downs and now Woodyard
Seems to me that he realized after spring practice that he wasn't gonna be a starting DB, so he decided to leave. Malachi Moore is returning, and Bama got transfer DB Domani Jackson from USC. Plus there's Mitchell and several more top-rated freshmen coming in.

These children didn’t create the transfer portal. Adults did. They created it without much or any regulation.
Coach Darrel hit it on the nail head. Generally poor, but entitled children. Make the Dean's List for 4 semesters and you get to play sports.
