Kathy I think was actually more upset at amber bc she saw her as the reason Rob turned on her. Rupert and Jenna L made a deal to get to the final four if they protected rob and amber. They did and then it was a free for all. Rob and amber convinced Jenna to vote out Rupert and then rob won final immunity and sent Jenna packing. It wasn’t a backstab. Rob stabbed Lex, Alicia, big Tom, and kathy in the back. Only kathy could find it in herself to vote for him. Shi Ann actually decided it based on what she saw as an incredible strategy by amber: use rob as a shield that does a lot of the physical work and blindsiding which will then take the heat off her. Rob was the more deserving player, but amber was better and more clever
I do believe out of all the survivor winners, this is the biggest of all the audience's reactions to the winner and the proposal/romance in the history of survivor with Rob and Amber. Its also the most memorable to watch. In my opinion.

I watched Winners at War 2 weeks ago, and Im surprise of how good she's at playing (great at challenges, and great in jury's management). Truly she was too harsh on herself

Amber deserved to win Survivor: All-Stars more than Rob. Among her and Rob in the Final Two, Rob did play the better physical and strategic game, Amber played the better social game and had the stronger Final Tribal Council performance unlike Rob. Plus her victory saved her from returning two more times to try and finally win like Rob prior to Survivor: Winners At War. Thank Goodness Amber won Survivor: All-Stars and of course Thank Goodness Rob won Survivor: Redemption Island!
This season was crap. Lex and the others at mogo mogo had the option to take out Amber during Chapera and then rob. Rob and amber had too much power from the get go and the others were too cowardly to break them up that both of them made it to the final. The same thing happened again in Ghost Island when Wendell and Dominick made it to the end. The only redeeming quality to Amber’s win was to give Shii Ann the car, she was the swing vote.
don't forget thanks to them, not only did we not see the last of Rob, but also couples from other shows tried to copy them, like one in particular in bb20 hint the fourth place finisher
I never thought of Shii ann as the swing vote. I thought that she was dead set on Amber winning because in her eyes Amber was the level-headed mastermind behind Rob but she saw this too late in the game. I believe Rob did play a great game but really screwed himself over in the final tribal. However, I was glad Shii Ann got the car because she never gave up on trying to break the power duo up, unfortunately, the remaining players mistakenly believed they would go to the end with amber and rob to the end.

Because Jeff loves Rob. It's the survivor bromance. And I think he just likes it when the player who was better wins. Don't get me wrong, Amber is a very good player but Rob was the spearhead of it all, and not only that he was also the main reason for challenge wins before merge and immunity wins after. Jeff likes the schemers, one of his other faves is Cochran and Parvati. He just likes it when the win goes to the person who made it happen, no matter how they did it. He cares a great deal about the game and so also a great deal about the final vote.

When she got separated and outnumbered by pure luck with the tribe swap, she began to acknowledge that she had feelings for Rob too when she realized he helped her feel secure and showed her real affection.
Amber isn't dislikable but certainly isn't the best player if this is supposed to be the best of the best season. I only remember her and everyone else in it's first game play ability. This season really should have been canceled
