I just realized, you can use Skyrim Unbound to make only one of you the dragonborn, only one of you can pick up MQ objectives and the other is along for the ride. Big sibling, little sibling, just like old times.
Man for some reason when i tried this with my GF we would see eachother gliding everywhere 99% of the time. And i (who wasn't being the host) would see basicaly all NPC's gliding everywhere like 70% of the time aswell so we ended up giving up on it after several tries. I am spoiled by all the SKSE mods though... I hope you enjoy this playthrough Gopher. ^^ i'll try it again at some point in the future.

It would be a nightmare to get that to work also with the no compatibility with engine fixes which alot of the great mods use will also get in the way.
It is good enough considering playing multiplayer shouldn't have even been possible. The fact that another person on a different computer can appear in your single player offline world and interact with everything in it is far from "disappointing". It still has alot of work that needs to be done though, that's for sure. As for stability, if you mean CTDs, i managed to play with my gf for over 5 hours without a single CTD so far.
