Jordan is an extremely talented young man. La Dispute pour their heart and soul into their songwriting and put out al lot of emotion into their singing. Please don't stop making inspiring songs I am a huge fan and appreciate all your work
Thank fucking jesus, I've been waiting way too long for a new interview. I fear I have an addiction to this band, everytime I put them on I don't let myself stop listening until I've listened to every song at least once. i love them i love them i love them. They changed my life, they are the best thing that has happened to me.
His music is unbelievebly beautiful. I was with you the first tiem I heard them, I thought there was no point. The instrumentation, the urgency in his voice, the angst, the pain...the music and the lyrics...its so perfect, I can't even beginto describe the feeling. But, I deffinately know where your coming from. I am sorry for ya, but its not for everyone.
I fucking love this guy. Fucking love the band. Fucking love everything about them. Seldom do you see an interview with band members where their answers are intelligent and thought out. Jordan is one of the few people I idolize.
I'm new to the fanbase and I can already tell from listening to some of his songs he seems like the type of person I would just run up to and hug and he'd be okay with that. :)
I met him one night when i went to see them live. he was standing right there by the merch table and everyone was just acting normally, and i wanted to yell 'don't you people know you have a fucking music genus standing here in the room with you??'
The white dot on the wall on the left side is in almost the same spot in both camera angles, so I thought it was something on my screen. Needless to say, it wasn't on my screen.
I definitely appreciated his answer to the last question. Often I hear people saying how (in general) there is just no good music today, which I full disagree with. It's not that there isn't any good music, it is there, I promise. You just have to search a little more. If you're looking at the radio or top 40, no you probably won't find the 'good' music (it's also subjective). The music is always there. There are kids making music and people appreciating it. It hasn't gone anywhere.
Actually, no. His music is fucking great. Every single song he has created has meaning and is infuential. If you don't like his music don't even bother commenting on it.
Jordan must've been all of his English teacher's favorite student.
0:40 i have never seen a person's eyebrows raise so high
i wish this interview was longer. i can't get enough of this band.
His voice.....after listening to the Here Hear albums so much I feel like every time he talks he's doing poetry.

Everything he says is so poetic

Same here, at first I didn't like them that much, but then I started listening to them more and more, and now I just fucking love them.
An addiction to this band is not something to fear, but something to embrace.
Jordan you inspire man!
somewhere at the bottom... is still the best album musically. Here, Hear is perfect also :3
"i dont think it [hardcore] ever left. i dont think it ever will. it just changes shapes"

It's hard to describe what i thought but your description fits better than what i have made up.
The first time I heard them I thought the same thing. It's cool though.
You help me bear.
Jordan Dreyer would be a wonderful person to discuss life with over a cup of coffee. Or tea.
good questions
Weber fucking State did this interview?! That's nuts.
I SAW THEM TODAY, IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING.
Opening song?
Agreed
Am I the only one who thinks he sounds like Jesse Eisenberg? Especially in the Here, Hears?

Maybe they're not part of the species that can understand the music genus.
That's a real shame. He seems like such a chill dude but his music is TERRIBLE.
