Thanks Mike, I've always loved the 9th chords. I learned of them when I was a kid, playing along with a record of the Allman Brothers version of Stormy Monday.
Ain't nothing like the real thing :). Too bad the real thing is so heavy lol. Mojo sounds pretty decent though... and looks cool! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks Mike - I love your videos and have incorporated many of your tips into my soloing! So much awesome!
So happy to hear!!!! Made my day. Thanks for the comment :)

Yeah!! That’s one of the recordings that really influenced me too!! And many others I am sure. Love Gregg!!
fantastic lesson - thanks
So glad you enjoyed Glenn! Thanks for the comment!
Easy trick. Play a minor triad from the 5th below the root of the chord. G minor over a C equals C9.
Love it!
The best!
Thanks Tony ❤️
Enjoy your precise instruction. It's great!
Than you Gary! Appreciate the comment :)

Great stuff!
Have fun 🎹🤟
As always a great lesson Mike. And look at you getting me interested in other chords then the usual 7 chords or sus chords :)
Thanks Mikael! 9 chords are really useful and sound great! Definitely worth digging into :)
I like to play a lot of these chords in my Blues Rock Band. Sometimes I'll add a sharp nine to get some edgy sound.
Sharp 9’s work great!!
Btw I've been wondering what the extra controls on the left sida of the keybed are for?
Hey :). Here is a video I made explaining how all the features of my Hammond work ua-cam.com/video/EM6mYz7Qb_U/v-deo.htmlsi=mT46Rtw4mZkYvlrn

Yeah, the mojo 61 sounds pretty damn good and allows you to play without back pain.@@UniverseofKeys
To give it a JB flavor, make it a #9
Yessir!!
