I -really- like Guanzorumu. Not as much as Chaos Magala or Dhisufiroa, but it's easily third. It kind of harkens back to a more traditional take on a dragon: a majestic being that commands underlings (to OHKO effect) and breathes fire. It's so bloody simple, and it works.
I personally like phase 1 better as well. Especially the bit at 1:19. It's the type of music I enjoy most. Also, the fight and music both give me a vibe of the battle against Griever in FF8. Not sure what it is. The environment and start of this music just brings me back to that. I hope future monsters will provide just as great music pieces! :)
1:19 i completely agree with you. this is one of my favorite peices from monster hunter. Its absolutely beautiful alongside its harmony. If i have nothing to listen to, i listen to this. no matter how many times i view this, this specific video, i can never get tired of it. Its absolutely amazing and should be more recognized. It is also one of the most majestic monsters and themes out there. Dont you agree?
Yes but that also has to do with it's title which is 帝征龍 and read as "teiseiryuu" which means Emperor Conqueror Dragon or something along those lines. ;) So he's majestic by default no contest. :P
